We are a farm-focused restaurant in the heart of Grey County.
“We enjoyed dinner for eight, including two children. The dishes were elevated and expertly prepared. You have to know what you're doing to serve a braised lamb risotto. Wait waited for the food a bit longer than we've used to but it was well worth the wait.”
“Just so so good. Food, service, decor, everything. Whatever you order will be wonderful so don't sweat it. Only wish I lived closer by!”
“Wow, first time there and it was great! Service was exceptional, my mum was cold and the waitress (sweet blonde girl from Door something??) wrapped her in a blanket! Amazing food, accommodated my celiac allergy no problem. Took a star off the food because we ordered a rice pudding for dessert and it wasnt fully cooked, was like eating raw rice lol the rest of the meal was spectacular though!”
“We have been many times and it was immediately our favourite place to go. We usually book a reservation as they do fill up, but can usually get one the same day. We have always had great service, fast service and spectacular food. The mushroom toast and chicken bites are our go to appetizers but we are always pleased with any menu choices we’ve made.”
“The mushroom toast looked fabulous, but it was honestly way too oily for me—the bread was completely soaked and the mushrooms were coated in oil. The first couple of bites were nice, with the crisp bread, grated cheese, and the rich, earthy flavor of wild mushrooms, but after that it became too heavy to finish. The Philly cheesesteak was very flavorful, and the meat was tender and easy to bite through. Still, it was also on the slightly oily side—a tasty comfort food, but quite rich. The fries were also just a little bit too salty. My favorite dish was definitely the Caesar salad. It had a great variety of fresh vegetables, and the croutons tasted like they were made in house —super crispy and falls apart right when you bit into it, the texture I haven’t found elsewhere. The salad as a whole was incredibly well-balanced: refreshing greens paired perfectly with the creamy Caesar dressing, making it flavorful but not overwhelming. Truly delicious! I also tried the heirloom tomatoes salad from the daily specials. The tomatoes themselves were excellent and fresh, simply prepared without overcomplicating them. However, I did feel the price was a bit on the high end, and server didn’t mention, which I think the restaurant should make clearer when ordering. The restaurant’s ambiance is beautiful, with an elegant British-inspired touch. If you’re in the area, this is definitely a refined spot worth considering.”
