“Excellent wine! Very friendly owner and very knowledgeable. I love their Chardonnay.”
“Beautiful drive to a quaint winery. Winery is located upstairs in a rustic barn. Tried five samples for $15. Glasses are $15 and bottles start at around $40. Every wine I tried was very smooth. Very good quality local wine. Lighter but on the dry side. Very happy with each tasting. Rose which I normally don’t enjoy was very good here. The aged wine was of course my favorite. The sign outside said they had food but none was available in the day we went.”
“Wonderful wine. Owner is very nice and talks about the wine they make. More intimate setting on a great property.”
“Extremely rude. My 73 year old father who is hard of hearing, wears hearing aids and walks with a cane stopped near the doorway to ask the owner a question. Owner snapped a response and then told him to move out of the way because he was blocking the door. Two people had just come to the door that he hadn’t heard or seen as he had his back to it. Reaction from the owner was completely unwarranted. Wine was over priced and the whole time we were there we felt unwelcome. My family has been to almost 200 wineries across the country and never once had an owner act as rude as this one.”
“I recently went to a charity event at this vineyard. There was one non-alcoholic wine available, a sparkling chardonnay NOT from their vineyard (if it was an $8 bottle from Bottle King I wouldn't be surprised), so I ordered a glass and enjoyed the event. At the end of the afternoon, I went to settle up with the staff member (maybe the owner? I'm not sure) and he said that it would be $15, that all individual glasses of wine were $15. Fifteen dollars for a glass of cheap N/A wine...really???? So I gave him a twenty and he gave me four singles back, explaining that with taxes, it came to $15.99. Note that this price was not clearly listed ANYWHERE that I saw. In hindsight, I should have made him give me the penny change so that I could have...oh, never mind. Honestly, I was so pissed at that point that I walked quickly out to my vehicle in order to keep from doing something that I may have later regretted. Based on this experience, I will NEVER frequent this establishment again. Clearly they are shysters, independent of the quality of their product. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!”
