“Fantastic beer selection! Followed by a wonderful staff! This place just doesn’t get any better. Whether you’re looking for an easy hang or you want to make the night a bang! It’s a really wonderful place to hang out! We are a little biased because we are some of the regulars. But we wouldn’t come regularly if we didn’t love it! I’ll also add that this is a great place to host an event! The staff really takes care of a lot of the hosting jitters and the location is ideal for people who need parking and people needing public transportation !”
“I’ve been coming Nav Tap since it opened, and it continues to be my favorite self pour taproom! It’s also an amazing space for parties and get togethers, no more messy bill splitting. Fantastic staff and owners. Love!”
“This place is COOL! Self-serving adult beverages- heck yes! You get a “credit card” and you can try any drinks- they have various beers, and mixed drinks, all on tap! I love this concept so much! They also have snacks available. Even better: they have ample space to sit and chill, great music, and games galore to play while you drink! They also occasionally seem to have happy hours / deals. Will be back as this place is a gem. Plus, the owner seemed super nice and made sure to explain to us the concept in a friendly manner.”
“Navigator Taproom After being away for a while, I finally made it back to Navigator Taproom. The vibe is still good, but a few things have changed—some upgrades, a couple of misses, and one quiet goodbye to a beloved couch. Pros Opens at 4 p.m. on weekdays, which makes it a great stop on the way home. Excellent drink variety—sours, IPAs, lagers, wine, and even cocktails. Self-serve taps let you pour what you want and keep your tab under control. Lots of seating options: indoor, outdoor, big tables, small tables, and soft window benches. -Good place to work, grade papers, knit, play board games or chat and talk. Friendly and helpful staff who actually seem happy you’re there. Paper Plane Pizza now runs a kitchen—ordering is all online. They only use to have chips or BY OF before Daily happy hour and fun extras like trivia nights and a board game shelf. Non-alcoholic drink options that go beyond just soda. -not crowded usually until after 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. Cons The comfy back couch and coffee table? Gone. Still mourning. Seating now is mostly gorgeous wooden tables with metal seats or stools. No Apple Pay or Google Pay—you’ll need an actual card to start a tab. -BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) is no longer a thing. This may going out a little bit more reasonable, since I could spend all my money on beer and bring it in food. But no more No snack foods like chips or popcorn or even pizza by the slice. - If you’re just in for a quick beer, your food options start at $10 (garlic bread) or $15 (sandwich). The food looked amazing and tasty, but I didn't want to commit because I still had to go home and make dinner for the family. Bottom Line Navigator’s still a SOLID PLACE to grab a drink, hang out, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere. Just know it’s evolved a bit—more streamlined, slightly less cozy, —but still VERY WORTH THE VISIT. I will be coming back for drinks, events, and hanging out.”
“The Navigator taproom was very quiet when we visited on a Sunday afternoon. We were the only two customers until another pair showed up just before we were leaving. I appreciated how clean everything was - like the staff really cared about the place. The host welcoming us was extremely friendly and explained how the taps worked - he also changed the TV to a game we wanted to watch. Good beer selection and pricing seemed reasonable. We had a great experience and were glad we stopped in.”
