“Excellent tasting with our hosts Delores and Tony, two of the best in the hospitality business! Orsi produces food-friendly, well balance wines with good aging potential. If you're looking for a rare Italian varietal that is unique to Orsi, you must try their Biancolella. In addition, loving their Nebbiolo and Montepulciano just to name a few. Beautiful grounds, family-owned, and exceptional service. Cin Cin!”
“A group of 6 ladies and I visited Orsi Family Vineyards on March 6th. For many of us, this was our first wine tasting experience. The staff were so very gracious with our lack of knowledge, were happy to answer questions about the wine making process and were kind in educating us on wine-tasting ettiquette (we were brought food with us... if you don't know already, that's not what you do for a tasting!). They lean into their Italian roots by offering delicious and authentic Italian goods of all kinds in their store. We bought a couple bottles on our way out, because the wine was excellent! Thank you Mark and staff for this experience. We really enjoyed ourselves and learned some things along the way!”
“We visited the winery as part of Barrel Tasting prior to 2023. At the time, we weren’t too impressed. Decided to take a chance this year and with Bill having stepped in as winemaker enjoyed every wine in the barrel and purchased. We cannot wait til we pick them up next year. We had a great picnic lunch on the deck while enjoying their current release as well. So happy we decided to return and revisit.”
“Really enjoyed our training at Orsi with Dick the vintner. The property is very pretty and he opened all 13 of their varietals which was really generous since our friends have bought a large amount of wine from this vineyard. They have many Italian varietals that are not widely available in Sonoma County which was lovely and we liked the Primitivo, Sagrantino and Sangiovese especially. Thanks so much for the lovely tasting!”
“We were here for the Wine Road barrel tasting weekend and they've put out their three best wines, Nebiolo, Montepulciano, and Sangiovese, for the tasting. Very friendly winemaker and staff. There's a mini Italian market inside and they were giving out samples of the panetonne and a spicy sausage pasta. There were tables outside in the back patio with a nice view of the vines. No outside food allowed.”
