“This is a winery that specializes in port wine only. Port is a specific kind of wine that it mixed with brandy and is sweeter than typical wines. Because of the mixture of wine and brandy typically a slightly higher alcohol content around 19%. Loved Praeger, great conversation and great wine. There is a few to taste which is common, but discounted if you buy a bottle. Also MUST check out the money room where people from around the world have come and left money from their country on the walls and ceiling. The room is completely covered with different currencies!”

“Outstanding selection of Heavenly Ports! Our group of 6 adults and two children were able to squeeze in a visit last minute thanks to the awesome staff at Prager. Second and third generation family run and staff the vineyards and tasting room. The individual samples were delicious from the start. And to our disbelief, each new variety/vintage eclipsed the previous one. Purchasing a mix and match case for shipment home wasn't even an option. We look forward to sampling the goods again when they arrive. Well done!”

“We had such a fun time at Prager! If you are in the area, do not miss adding this tasting room to your itinerary. The people are lovely, the location and atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable that you feel instantly at home. The port tastings comes with a small nibble pairing, and it was fun to see how each pairing changed/enhanced the flavors of the port. My favorite was their classic Prager Port, but they really are all amazing and you won't go wrong picking any of them. It was my first port experience, and Prager has definitely set the bar high!”

“I visited this delightful winery in February. My friend who visits yearly took me here. I’m so glad she did. The owners are so nice! Friendly, laid back, great service and excellent wines. I joined the two bottle club but I order more. The Petite Syrah is excellent and a go to for me. The Royal Escort and Noble Companion are my favorites! I have shared those poets with friends who love them. We always order the Praeger Port Chocolates abs the home made nuts. They are so accommodating!”
