Andrew is a two-time winner of the prestigious Lowell Thomas Award for travel writing. His latest book, Here Not There, published this year by National Geographic, explores counterintuitive travel destinations. Nelson will chronicle his favorite off-the-beaten-path recommendations, with a special focus on North Carolina’s own hidden gems. Executive Chef Steven Greene and his team will craft bites inspired by both national and international destinations. A thoughtfully curated selection of wines from The Umstead’s sommeliers will be paired to accompany.
