Heirloom is a full-service restaurant that is located in the historic Athenaeum Hotel on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution. From June 22nd - August 24th we offer breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. On Sundays we have a wonderful brunch buffet and offer a buffet dinner only. Starting May 1st a lounge menu is available 11am - 9pm daily. Reservations are not required for prior to June 22nd.

Experience a night of German splendor at the Athenaeum Hotel! Savor an indulgent German feast while being serenaded by The Bergholz German Band, direct from Niagara Falls (NY). Clad in vibrant, traditional garb, this band brings the essence of German Folk tradition to life with their infectious oom-pah rhythms and joyful melodies. Their full wind ensemble delivers a rich, harmonious sound that embodies the cheerful spirit of Gemütlichkeit, a tradition they’ve delighted audiences with for 50 incredible years. Dinner is served from 5–8:30 p.m., with the band from 5:30–9 p.m. Keep the celebration going with our cash bar featuring a selection of German beers, available until 11 p.m.
