Built right on the bank of the Guadalupe River, 1011 Bistro offers the most spectacular view in Kerrville. You will find something in our menu for a special occasion, family gathering, or just kick back with friends and a bottle of wine on our open terrace. Our menu features some French and American specialties, as well as some Italian classics, with a touch of Texas. Appetizers include our famous Mussels in broth, baked Crab Cakes and crispy Calamari. You can also find salads, pasta dishes, steaks and fish. Did we mention all our desserts are homemade? Our extensive wine list has something for everyone… California Cabernets and Zinfnadels, Italian Chiantis and Pinot Grigios, Malbecs from Argentina, and Australian Shiraz. Our menu is definitely wine-friendly.
“This was hands down the best romantic dining experience in TX . The view was absolutely stunning and made for the perfect atmosphere. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I was so sad to hear the restaurant had to close due to flooding, but I cannot wait for it to reopen. It’s truly one of a kind and worth the wait!”
“A hidden place in Texas. Quite a beautiful spot. The server had mentioned that there is a college /University campus across from the Restaurant. To describe this place or the town that the restaurant is located at … very nice 👍 . 😊 this place is surrounded by a beautiful water view. However, I did noticed that there are a lot of churches.. I counted 12 churches ( might have missed many more) No offense to churches, I thought they were pretty 🤩 neat to look at.. I also heard that it was a place of Bible school? 🏫 Other than that, it was quite a nice day to stop to rest for a bit and try out their food 🥘 yes, 🙌 it was good. 😊”
“Trevor is an amazing waiter, very personable & professional! The filet mignon was cooked to absolute perfection, talk about melt in your mouth!! The calamari was crispy, not chewy at all!! The crab cakes were so-so. Lots of crab meat but not much flavor seasoning-wise. Everything else was very tasty 😋 The sunset view with the river was the icing on the cake!”
“Amazing food and Atmosphere- honestly the seafood pasta was the best I've ever had!! Home made fettuccine noodles with fresh seafood was insanely good. The Whiskey Cake too was a Wow! Everything was so good. You guys have a special place here.. Will definitely be back. Thank-you!”
“Overall everything was amazing except the risotto. Not a fan of it, it was really bland but the whiskey cake made me forget all about it. Views are super nice definitely very romantic. Took awhile for the food to arrive but worth the wait. Only thing I wish is that they would have a full bar instead of just the beer and wine. I did think it was weird they asked if we were celebrating anything and I said 3 year anniversary but we didn't get anything for it, so why ask?”
