“This is officially my new favorite spot in Austin! I stopped by early in the afternoon to grab a late lunch and a couple of drinks and I had the best time. I sat at the bar and the service was amazing, the Aperol spritz was delicious and their wine selection did not miss. Matayah behind the bar was an absolute joy, great service and a lovely personality. The space is gorgeous and the food was incredible. Can’t recommend this place enough!”

“What I love most about Austin Oyster Co. is that every dish I would normally never order has somehow ended up becoming one of my favorites. Every clam on the menu is outstanding, the scallop tostada, rum cocktail, and key lime pie are now must-orders. The branzino, one of the newer additions to the menu, is incredible as well. Every detail from the food and drinks to the atmosphere and service is great. Continues to impress me every time I visit.”

“Today was my first interaction with the Austin Oyster Co. Such a delightful experience on every level. I called prior to their opening this evening to see if any availability. My call was answered immediately. By an actual person! So rare these days! The gentlemen on the phone was extremely courteous and let me know that in spite of being fully committed, I could try my luck at the bar. Next interaction-me pulling up to the restaurant, praying for an 🦪 : the valet, Kage, was also extremely kind and courteous. I let him know I didn’t have a reservation and he assured me he’d keep my car close by in case I couldn’t get seated. Luckily, I obtained a lovely spot at the bar. A whisper away from the oyster shuckers. Loved it! Lucky me! Special shout out toJackson, my server, who was so attentive and hospitable. Lovely service. The oysters were outstanding. Don’t sleep on the citrus dressed salmon roe oyster and the Tom Kha clam. You’ll thank me later. Austin Oyster Co boasts the best service in Austin - I can’t wait to return. Charming ambience, incredible staff, amazing flavors. PS I am typically an oyster purist and a squeeze of lemon for me is the limit but don’t sleep on their house made hot sauce. It’s INSANE! “We went their second night open. For only being the second day, we were extremely pleased. The food was incredible, the oysters specifically were excellent and clearly of very high quality. The rest of the meal did not disappoint, and our server Jackson was impressively informed on the menu for it being so early in the restaurant’s operation. The cocktails were also lovely, as was the wine recommended by the staff. The scallop tostada, dressed oysters, and Diablo clams were among other favorites. We will definitely be going back and are excited to see the restaurant grow and evolve.”
