Located in the heart of River North, at 65 West Kinzie Street, DineAmic Hospitality added its first Mexican restaurant, Barrio, to the hospitality group's culinary roster in 2017. A creative take on traditional Mexican fare with American influences, Barrio is a 6,000-square-foot space accommodating 200 guests indoors and throughout our 3 private dining spaces and 70 guests amongst our expansive outdoor patio. Barrio is located near the Chicago River, right on the cusp of downtown in River North.
“Had brunch alfresco at Barrio Saturday. Everything about the experience was top notch. My wife and I both enjoyed the Chicken and Churros. Amazing. Having brunch surrounded by the vibe and activities of a Chicago afternoon was so much fun. We arrived about 30 minutes before our reservation but they were able to seat us right away. The Chicken and Churros was delicious. It comes served with chipotle infused maple syrup. I couldn’t get enough of this stuff. Barrios will be an “Every Time” weekend brunch stop for us when we are in Chicago. There’s a parking structure right across the street and it’s located just a few blocks from the river on Clark Street, so getting to the River Walk is really easy.”
“Had an amazing time at Barrio! Jake was our server, super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the table side guac, birria quesadilla, and carne asada - all three were killer!!! We ended with the tres leches cake that was absolutely perfect. Drinks are also so tasty! My fav is the pineapple de mezcal. Perfectly balanced. Monday nights they have margarita mondays with great specials for $9 margs too! Definitely recommend!”

“Reserved and visited from the restaurant week list. Lively vibe was exactly what we wanted. Noise level is also great. Just loud enough to have conversation with your party without worrying about anyone else ease dropping. We ordered 4-course meals and it was delicious and plenty. We barely finished our desserts and brought home leftover quesadillas.”
