Crown Block

“This was my first time at Crown Block and it won’t be my last. As expected, the restaurant had gorgeous views of Dallas but everything about the dining experience was incredible. We had George as our server and he was outstanding. He was attentive, friendly, made great recommendations, and checked in on us often. We ordered A LOT of food (burger, filet mignon, several sides, several hand rolls and crudo) and they were all pretty tasty. My favorites were: 1. Yellowtail crudo 2. Steakhouse roll (from the Chef’s menu) 3. Filet mignon”

“Last minute reservation open up so we got lucky and went for dinner. Server Jake was super. Food was good though not great. Steak cook well but there’s are better steak places. Sushi was good but there are better sushi places. The view is amazing. The starting complimentary cocktail was nice touch. Ride up the elevator was fun. Bar area while waiting for our table is great idea. Just think that it would be better if checking in downstairs then hostess waiting by the elevator to walk us to our table would be better.”

“Had a great brunch experience at Crown Block inside Reunion Tower. The view alone makes it worth it, but the food and service really backed it up. The whole space feels upscale, bright, and perfect for a special outing. I had the Tiramisu French Toast and the Short Rib Hash, and both were really good. The food was flavorful, well presented, and felt like a true brunch experience instead of just a pretty location with average food. This is definitely a spot I’d recommend for birthdays, date days, or when you want a real Dallas brunch moment. The staff was very welcoming, and the overall experience felt special.”

“My husband and I came here for our 9th anniversary and we were really excited and looking forward to a new experience. The crab cake was good and the Wagyu Croquettes were amazing. He got the Westholme Wagyu Striploin and I got the filet. The filet was decent. His steak was good for the most part. He said there were tendons in it that made it hard to chew. I guess we were expecting more for a $70 and $90 steak. We also got the flight of sides. The mac n cheese was good but the mashed potatoes were very bland with no seasoning. I almost asked for salt but didnt want to be weird. Almost tasted like boxed potatoes. We skipped dessert but they did bring us some cake pops and cookies with Happy Anniversary written on it. Would have also liked refills on our sodas. Overall it was OK just expected more for $320 bill.”

“The view is obviously amazing, spectacular waiting for sunset and into the night. The restaurant layout and design is pretty cozy and welcoming, very classy. Service in our case was spot on. Everything was very fast with our reservation. Beverages are ok and the food could have had more punch to it. I ordered the lobster bisque and the blackened Texas redfish.”
