Select this option to pre-order the Lamb Shoulder Caldereta Pie at Donia Getting its name from the Spanish word ‘caldera’ meaning cauldron, the Filipino Caldereta stew is traditionally made by stewing goat, tomatoes, bell peppers, potatoes, olives and liver paste which gives it that distinct savoury, tangy flavour. Our Caldareta reimagines this stew as a meat pie. It is cooked low and slow in classic caldereta fashion and then pulled apart to be layered with thinly sliced potatoes, bell peppers and tomatoes. It is then wrapped in puff pastry that soaks up our hearty liver sauce. Finished with our house chive oil, the Lamb Shoulder Caldereta pie is a show stopper.
