“An unforgettable dining experience at Ever by Chef Curtis Duffy in Chicago’s Fulton Market. The 9-course tasting menu was a symphony of flavors—every course was beautiful and exceptional, making it impossible to pick a favorite. Our nonalcoholic pairings were just as impressive. Andrew and the entire team provided warm, professional service, and the kitchen tour at the beginning set the tone for a magical evening. Every detail was flawless.”
“Here’s a polished Google review you can post: ★★★★★ Ever exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve ever had. The restaurant is elegant and minimalist, allowing the food and service to truly shine. We enjoyed the 10-course tasting menu, and every dish was beautifully presented and thoughtfully executed. Highlights included the white asparagus with caviar, scallop, coconut soup, salmon, morel mushroom, and an exceptional wagyu course. The mocktail pairing was also creative and perfectly complemented the menu. The dessert courses were equally impressive, and the experience ended with a delightful surprise visit to the candy parlor, where we enjoyed homemade chocolates and other sweet treats. From the impeccable service to the artistry of each course, every detail was carefully curated. Chef Curtis Duffy and his team have created something truly special. If you’re looking for a world-class dining experience in Chicago, Ever is absolutely worth it.”
“This is probably one of the most beautiful restaurants that I have been to. The service is great. The food is delicious. The fish, pork, and Wagyu were the most standout dishes of the night. I usually dislike Wagyu due to the extreme fattiness, but they make it right here.”
“Ufff. What a place! It seems to be a bit outside of downtown and the tourist part of the city, but I can’t be sure, as it was my first time in Chicago. It has been perfect since our arrival, with a warm welcome from the receptionists. The ambience is formal and discreet, with lovely internal architecture and tables well apart, giving you a lot of privacy. The service is distant but very well coordinated. The restaurant has a small but efficient wine list and good support from the sommelier. The food presentation was superb, with some dishes having “special effects “that let you perceive all the efforts and techniques.”
“Surprisingly disappointing. Had much higher expectations for this two star. While each dish was stunning, nearly all of them were unable to “wow” me. Not a single savory dish made me feel like I needed to tell someone about how great it was. They were all fairly forgettable, which is not what I expected for a two star. Normally I am smiling or giggling like a little kid when a dish blows me away - very common at a two or three star. That said, the caviar dessert dish with the moscato was absolutely wonderful. That dish did “wow” and the pairing was brilliant. This was the only dish that impressed me taste wise. They served a “Hokkaido milk bread” which was very mid. I asked if they imported Hokkaido milk because I’ve always wanted to find a way to do that since I love it. He said “yes we use regular milk” all nervously. Find it odd to call it Hokkaido milk bread when you aren’t using Hokkaido milk. That’s the whole point. Call it Hokkaido milk break style if you must. Service was as expected, nothing notable. I appreciated the chance to enter the kitchen and see the staff in action. The decor and vibes are lovely. Overall, I left disappointed especially for the high price. There was minimal protein and I was honestly left still a little hungry. I’ve been to countless Michelin start tasting menus. This one didn’t deliver a two star course in my option but was still a good dining experience overall.”
