“Had an outstanding dining experience at Haywire—this place absolutely delivers on both flavor and quality. We started with the wedge salad and venison chili, and both were easy 5 stars. Fresh, well-balanced, and packed with flavor. The grilled meatloaf was next level—perfectly cooked, rich, and incredibly satisfying. Comfort food done right. We also tried the Barbacoa Stroganoff and substituted mashed potatoes instead of pasta due to gluten sensitivity, and it was fantastic. The flavors were bold, savory, and came together beautifully. The atmosphere was great—comfortable, inviting, and added to the overall experience. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and the quality really stands out. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to.”

“First time here, and it was quite an experience. Best chicken fried steak in DFW, with zero doubts. The jalapeño gravy was a little on the warm side but not unbearable. Brought a unique flavor profile to a classic country staple. Mashed potatoes paired with it were phenomenal. And the ribeye, cooked medium? Oh. My. Goodness. I've been to 6 restaurants since moving here, and I've finally found a steak worthy of the name. Fantastic flavor and marbling, and it absolutely melted in the mouth. Our server was courteous and very knowledgeable, and quite attentive with our water and drinks. 10 out of 10. Only complaint is a personal preference on the veggies (green beans and charred broccolini) - Too undercooked for our liking but, the flavor was outstanding, and we were told that we could request they be cooked extra on our next visit (and we will absolutely be back).”

“For an appetizer, i ordered the fried green tomatoes. It was so delicious, but I didn't get a picture. Three of us had the cowgirl steak special and at first I was shocked by how small the portions appeared, but it was good and filling. Multiple family members had chicken fried chicken. They all said it was all delicious but the macaroni was not as good as they hoped. Server was nice but not as attentive as I'm used to. Although I will say the restaurant was very busy. Id definitely give it another try.”
