“This was an experience we were wanting to try for a while. We were so glad we did! We had a limited time limit since we had another event to attend. We told our server and he was VERY accommodating and quick, we left right on time. We had the best foods and drinks. Loved the curation and attention to detail. If you do go give yourselves more time and enjoy the experience and service!”
“Went for my partners birthday! Service was very helpful for our first time there. Even made suggestions which we tried a few of. The cold dishes we had were great. Didn't care for the rock shrimp that was recommended though. Good portions for two people. Was a little disappointed by the prime ribeye with crispy onions. Ordered medium rare but it came out more medium and was dry and had none of the fattiness one would expect from a ribeye. I don't usually even consider sending anything back, but considering the standard of the restaurant and the amount we were paying, I was prepared to. But our server was occupied with another table for a while so I just took the L. I'd come back to try the omakase forsure”
“Great dinner at Nobu Los Angeles. The food was excellent, especially the nigiris which were fresh and perfectly prepared. The vibe in the restaurant is stylish but relaxed, and the location is super convenient. Service was attentive and professional throughout the night. Overall a really solid experience and I would definitely come back.”
“First time trying Nobu and it was a good experience. I absolutely understand why everyone gets the yellowtail. Its absolutely delicious and not raw tasting at all. The star of the night for us were the waygu tacos. Black cod miso filet was highly recommended by our waiter but it didnt really do it for us. The sweet outer layer wasnt that appetizing to us but it was a good experience overall.”
“Highlights: - Wagyu beef tacos: amazing soft texture, big beefy flavours, a fantastic bite of food - White truffle steak: Cooked beautifully with the fried flowered onion on top, a perfect pairing Good: - Miso black cod: very flaky, beautiful to eat. It’s just not something special anymore, many restaurants are now serving this dish to the same or similar quality. Would be great to see some innovation here. - I enjoyed the fried chilli’s, nice appetisers, good hint of spice paired with the sweetness of the sauce. Overall: Good environment, good food, great service. Overall I just feel Nobu is lacking that ‘oomph’ that makes it stand out. The white truffle steak is holding its ground, for the moment. Still, a good place to take friends or a date.”
