At Rosie Cannonball, we’re serving European comfort food in a lively atmosphere. The restaurant celebrates the origins of cooking through open, live fire and is centered around a wood-burning oven and grill. The menu draws inspiration from individual ingredients: local vegetables, pastas and pizzas, simple seafood and locally-sourced meat cooked over live fire. Master Sommelier June Rodil curated an expansive list of delicious wines with a strong Italian, Spanish and French focus from their favorite producers new and old, along with options from progressive New World producers. The cocktail menu has strong Italian influences, mirroring the focus of the food. “We had a lovely time at Rosie Cannonball this Father's Day weekend. It was our first time dining here, and it certainly won't be our last. For dessert, we ordered the mint gelato and the honey cake. Both were fantastic! The mint gelato completely took us by surprise with its authentic, refreshing mint essence. The chocolate morsels at the bottom paired beautifully with the gelato. The environment can best be described as upscale yet inviting. The staff was incredibly attentive, always nearby to refill our drinks, and our waitress was absolutely lovely. Highly recommended!”
“I can't say enough about how much I enjoy Rosie Cannonball. The vibes are great - I feel like I could dress up or down and it's somehow both elegant and quaint. The service is perfect. And all the food is excellent. Well executed, great mix of textures and flavors. The only thing I've had that was just "good" was the supreme pizza. Everything else was excellent! I particularly love the focaccia di recco...wow. Something that sounds so simple but was so spectacular! Also the gnocchi al polpo...what is even in that tomato sauce? Amazing. Other things I suggest: Little Gem Lettuces (great way to brighten your palate amongst the other deeper flavors) and the honey cake.”
“Went here recently for a professional dinner and had the chance to sample a wide variety of dishes across the menu. Sharing plates with great company always makes for a better experience, and this one definitely delivered. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, the service remained attentive and the experience never felt rushed. The standout for me was easily the carrot chimichurri appetizer was unexpectedly my favorite bite of the evening. The cucumber salad was another fresh and flavorful start, and there was a great variety overall. The pizzas and flatbreads were outstanding and absolutely lived up to the hype. The cocktails were also excellent and quickly became our drink of choice for the night. They even had a sommelier stop by with wine recommendations for anyone wanting to explore that route, although our table was already thoroughly enjoying the cocktails and happily stayed the course. Included photos barely do justice to the spread. Looking forward to making my way back through the menu. Not to forget the 9-10 happy hour on weeknights for half priced pizzas and cocktails. 🍸 🍕”
“This was my first time trying Rosie Cannonball, and I can’t believe I didn’t come sooner I literally live just one block away and have driven past it so many times. I finally decided to give it a try, and wow… what an amazing experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. You can really tell they put thought and care into everything they serve. The wine selection was also excellent and paired perfectly with the meal. On top of that, the service was outstanding. The bartender was awesome friendly, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. The hosts were also very welcoming and set the tone right from the start. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a nice dinner with a great vibe. Whether you’re going out for a special occasion or just want a quality night out, this place is definitely worth it. I’ll 100% be coming back. Manny Kourradi🙏 Needlz Master Tailors”
“We had a great dinner of vegetables and pizza Sunday night. Their half price wine special Sunday makes it easy to celebrate with friends, and we ended up ordering our third pizza after 9pm so it was only $10! Definitely recommend the squash, which was the best squash we’d ever had. We enjoyed outdoor seating but got unexpectedly rained on, and the restaurant immediately accommodated us with seats at the bar inside. Valet parking is complimentary.”
