“Great dining experience from start to finish! We were greeted with a warm welcome and promptly seated at our reserved table. It was my husband's 40th birthday celebration and I appreciated the nice touches to the dessert that we ordered (a sparkler candle and a hand written happy birthday on the plate). Our waiter was very attentive and provided great service...I think his name was Humberto? We will definitely be back whether it's for another special occasion or just simply a night out to enjoy great food.”

The space felt elegant and welcoming, and our server Dan was very professional and attentive throughout the night. “We stayed at Russell’s for a birthday celebration and had mixed feelings about our experience. The restaurant has a unique style and a lot of history, but the layout felt overcrowded with tables very close together, making it hard not to feel part of other conversations. The atmosphere was different than we expected for an upscale dining experience. The décor has a distinct old-world feel, which may appeal to some, but it wasn’t what we were looking for. The food was good, but not our favorite considering the expectations that come with the restaurant’s reputation. We mentioned we were celebrating a birthday but did not receive any special touches, unlike other celebrations we saw. The hotel rooms also felt dated and more retro than luxurious. Small details, like having to get water from a vending machine and being woken by cleaning staff before checkout, added to the disappointment. Russell’s has a lot of history and a unique character, but I would recommend visiting with the right expectations. A high rating doesn’t always mean it will be the right fit for everyone.”

“The servers were amazing very attentive. The water was disgustingly bad. So I ordered Bacardi with pineapple juice. An easy make hard to miss and the kinda did. The bread and butter was delicious but after waiting 45min for a New York steak I was expecting a delicious steak. I was disappointed. No flavor and it was just bland. For a 70$ steak the expectation should have matched the price. Would I come back for the food or was it worth it? No. The people are great but honestly go support another local place with better prices”
