“We went the LA Central Library and had a bite to eat.... We each had the $28 lunch, a drink and the Tortino al Chocolato!!! Everything was great!!! The Insalata di Farro and del Settecento were great starters!!! The Funghi & Salsiccia pizza and the Spaghetti with nuts was very tasty!!! High marks for out server Eliana!!!”
“Settecento DTLA was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was inviting and it was very family-friendly. There are a variety of delicious choices. If you’re in DTLA or visiting Central Library (which is right next to it) this is a great restaurant to dine at.”
“Great Italian restaurant with tremendous character in the middle of downtown LA. The place looks beautiful. The service is top notch. The food was tasty. I had the mushroom and sausage pizza. Others had different types of pasta. All shared their appreciation. The lunch menu is worth it. $28 for a starter and main (pizza / pasta). Parking is at the library parking. It is costly so you may want to consider Uber.”
“Settecento is one of my go-to spots in DTLA and it never disappoints. I come here often with my coworkers, and we are huge fans of both the lunch special and happy hour. The food is consistently excellent, and you can really tell they care about quality. One of the coolest things about this place is that the pasta is made fresh in-house, and many of the ingredients are actually imported from Italy. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and authentic. The pizzas are another standout—they're light, flavorful, and absolutely worth spending a little extra on. And if you're stopping by for happy hour, do yourself a favor and order an Aperol Spritz. They make one of the best I've had in the city. Whether it's a quick lunch, after-work drinks, or a casual dinner, Settecento always delivers. Definitely one of my favorite Italian spots downtown. LOVE THE PATIO!!”
“Settecento DTLA has a fantastic atmosphere. The décor is unique and fits perfectly with its location next to the public library, making it a great spot to relax or grab a drink. As for the food, I wasn’t particularly impressed with what I ordered. It wasn’t bad by any means, but it also wasn’t memorable. One small frustration was that the tables don’t have salt or pepper, so there isn’t much opportunity to adjust the seasoning if your dish falls a little flat. Also an Italian restaurant with no bread?!?! Overall, I’d recommend it for the ambiance and cocktails, but I probably wouldn’t come back specifically for the food.”
