In the shadow of Arizona’s famed Camelback Mountain, théa, named after the Goddess of light, serves as a haven where guests can indulge in simple pleasures and extravagant moments sky high. With breathtaking views and lively DJ energy, théa sets the stage for an unforgettable evening that transports you to the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean. The menu explores the vast preparations of Mediterranean mezze, pasta and coastal seafood with dips, flatbreads, perfectly prepared vegetables and marinated protein skewers, all designed to be shared. théa’s cocktail program is equally as rooted in fresh and house-made ingredients that combine the classic with the unexpected. But the cocktails are not to be outdone by one of the country’s most extensive rosé collections.
“Came here with low expectations regarding food and service due to being a popular restaurant for views alone. I was pleasantly surprised. Brittney was the best waitress I could have asked for - was very friendly, attentive, and engaging even though I was just a party of 1. Food was phenomenal. Thank you Brittney and Théa for helping make my vacation a memorable one!!”
“We had dinner and drinks at Thea Rooftop in Phoenix and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was fantastic, the views during sunset were stunning, and the food, drinks, and overall menu were all excellent. I was a little worried about sitting outdoors on the patio during the Phoenix summer heat, but the mist on the patio was so refreshing and made it very comfortable. It ended up being such a beautiful spot to enjoy the evening. Everything we tried was great, but the standouts were definitely the dumplings, Greek-style fries, and the chicken plate. Thea Rooftop had such a great atmosphere and we would absolutely recommend it.”
“Absolutely delicious food. The whipped ricotta was just phenomenal and had to have been my favorite dip, but the kopanisti was a close runner up with how flavorful it was. I had heard great things about the chicken souvlaki skewers, so I think I had higher expectations. I'm not a big lamb fan, so the open faced lamb pita wasn't my favorite. That shrimp scorpio though? Mouth watering. Just incredible. Service was excellent, drinks were delicious, and the restaurant is beautiful too.”
“I celebrated my 33rd birthday at Thea and it was such a beautiful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was elegant and welcoming, which made the night feel really special. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and they made sure everything about my birthday celebration felt effortless and memorable. All of the food was absolutely delicious. I had the calamari, shrimp scampi, and salmon, and every single dish was flavorful and perfectly prepared. You can really tell they care about the quality of the food and the experience they create for their guests. The ambiance was perfect for a celebration...stylish, cozy, and just the right balance of lively and relaxed. What stood out most was how taken care of we felt throughout the evening. It truly made my birthday feel special and memorable. I’m so grateful we chose to celebrate here and I will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply enjoy an amazing meal in a lovely setting, I highly recommend Thea.”
“Dinner at Thea was a whole experience, and a big part of that was thanks to Joseph, who might genuinely be the best server I’ve had all year. Attentive, warm, and effortlessly on top of everything, he set the tone for the night in the best way. I ordered the Grilled Skirt Steak, and while it was cooked well, the dish itself didn’t really stand out. The flavors were fine, just not as memorable as I hoped for a signature entrée. On the flip side, the fried calamari was a total win, perfectly cooked, lightly crisp, and seasoned with a flavor that made it hard to stop reaching for more. Dessert ended things on a high note. The lemon olive oil cake with lemon curd and raspberry compote was bright, balanced, and absolutely delicious. The kind of dessert that makes you slow down and savor every bite. Overall, Thea delivered a lovely evening with standout service, great starters, and a dessert worth coming back for. With a little more spark in the main dish, this would’ve easily been a 5‑stars from me.”
