“This is quite a large winery, but it’s very nice and modern. Their menu is pretty varied, and their wines are mostly from Michigan and California from the looks of it. I got a flight of their dry red wines, and they were delicious. They were a bit more complex than I expected, so I’d give them high marks. This is a popular place in the summer, however, so don’t be surprised by the crowds. I’ll have to go back to try more of their wines at a later date, but it’s definitely worth your time.”
“We visited Shady Creek on 11/08/25 during a girls weekend! We sat in the pop up bar section and had the best afternoon! Julia and Elizabeth are the best! Their service was fantastic! We had so many laughs! The food and drinks were delicious! The gift shop area was cool and Nevaeh was so sweet helping us with our purchases. I want to go back soon! Cheers!”
“Shady Creek Winery hosted our luncheon for a group of 30, and the experience was outstanding. Even though we were running behind schedule, they accommodated us seamlessly and made sure every detail was taken care of. The value we received was incredible, and our entire group is already planning a return visit! Special thanks to Jane, who was amazing with communication and ensured we were well taken care of from start to finish.”
“My partner and I visited for the first time for a Fondue Experience. Just note that the winery is in central time and not eastern. My partner and I accidentally arrived an hour early. They were able to seat us at the bar and then seat us to dinner early which was amazing (we didn’t ask to be seated early, it was just wonderful service). We were escorted to the Oak Room which had a lovely romantic atmosphere that seats three tables with a view of the wine barrel room. My partner and I were introduced to our server and the events coordinator who informed us of the history of Fondue and our menu for the evening and the wines available to order. (I mistakenly thought the wine was included in the dinner.) The cheese, main, and chocolate fondue courses and the paired accoutrements were amazing. The steak and chicken were cooked really well. And we loved the marshmallow and graham crackers in the last course. The salad offerings were delicious as well. Overall, my partner and I recommend the experience. The coordinator said it was seasonal so we are looking forward to more offerings. The food, service, atmosphere were all incredible and we can’t wait to visit again!”
“We visited on a Saturday night for the fondue dinner. We arrived early and started out with a couple of glasses of wine. We were impressed with the beautiful building and atmosphere. The service was great (Janicia) and the food was wonderful. The fondue dinner is $65 per person and we each had another glass of wine. My only complaint is we were charged a 20% service charge. We didn't find out until we looked at our receipt that was emailed to us. I can understand a automatic charge for a large group but it was just me and my wife and we had left a 25%+ tip.”
