In the summer of 2012, four men with deep Southampton roots united with a collective goal of bringing an exceptional pub-style restaurant to the area. A place where locals can experience outstanding food and drinks, served with an unpretentious attitude in a lively environment. In what better place to do so than in the former Southampton train station? A station that for hundreds of years was the heart and soul of the community, connecting the Bucks County suburb to the rest of the country and allowing Southampton to thrive economically and become the remarkable area it is today. With a combined 70 years of restaurant and bar experience, these four Southampton men, anchored by the exquisite and innovative culinary skills of executive chef Brendan Gillespie, hope to parallel the train station’s long and incredible history by servicing the community for years to come.
“I’ve been a couple times now the staff are so welcoming and nice! The food is to die for they have this upscale menu at an affordable price with tons of variety to fit customers needs. They have a great beer selection with rotating IPAs weekly. Would recommend and definitely coming back!”
“I came her with my grandparents and cousin and we loved it! Our food was out in 15 minutes and our waitress was great! Instead of her politeness feeling fake and forced, it felt real and genuine. We ordered the boneless wings with sweet and spicy sauce, the penne pasta with butter, a bang bang burger, and the burger tacos, and everything was great!”
“Crossed the river in my travels and was able to stop in to a place that has been on my radar. Steam Pub is an old train station that is now a bar and pub. The vibe is great and probably awesome at night when they sometimes have live music. Huge bar with a huge tap list. Food was delicious to boot! The elote dip was good (a bit salty - but good) and the wass burger was delicious. Also the chicken sandwich was good. Sweet potato fries or regular fries. Our server was friendly and attentive. Glad I was finally able to check it off my list.”
“📌 These cheesesteak eggrolls are an absolute rip-off for $16+tax. My wife and I ate "dine-in" as she made reservations for Valentine's Day because she (we) wanted to try other establishments in our area that we haven't tried and ended up at Steam Pub. Reservation was for 6:30pm, we arrived on time, was seated promptly as the place wasn't busy and had plenty of servers readily available. Once we were seated we had to wait approximately 13-16 minutes just to be acknowledged and offered drinks. Once we ordered from the menu, it took almost 35 minutes to get our order and once I saw the plate of the "cheesesteak eggrolls" I was certainly disappointed at the lame presentation on the plate. One of the "managers" walked thru asking customers how things were and he approached our table as well. I made it a point to critiicize the size of the eggrolls at a price of $16 and the "manager" responded with a gaslight, lame excuse stating "with the price of steak, that's the size we serve" , as if it's "market price" of lobster like they price at a market. And considering the small amount of "steak" in each of the 4 portions was likely equivalent to a "slider" size roll. The meat in the "eggroll" was dry, somewhat tasteless and didn't have "fried onions" included in the steak despite the description on the menu. $16 for 2 eggrolls cut in half with the portion of steak was despicable I gave a ⭐️⭐️ review because the burger was somewhat worth the price but I'm a "one- and- done" customer.”
“Menu change was limited. The chicken quesadillas was absolutely terrible- no lie, worst we ever had. No flavor, hard a a rock and hardly and chicken on it, flavorless Bang bang shrimp were good but came out cold Won’t be coming back”
