“The sushi rolls were super good! We got the spicy tuna, real hasta la muerte, and Japanese lover, and they were all good, our favorite was the Japanese lover. Definetly get that one, the chimmichuri on it was soooo good. Very nice blend of cuisines! Service was quick and very nice atmosphere. Would come back.”

“We came to Tainos Restaurant for my sister’s birthday lunch and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating with our large group and made sure we were comfortable, especially with our baby in a stroller—they seated us in a corner with plenty of space for everyone. The food was really good and reasonably priced. Our party had a bunch of different allergies which required a lot of accommodations - the staff and chefs made the changes with no hesitation. Although they weren’t serving alcohol at the time, the mocktails were delicious. Overall, a great spot for a group outing!”

“I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The fusion of Japanese tradition with Dominican flavors is truly phenomenal—every dish tastes as incredible as it looks. My personal favorites were the Ninja Conconcitos and Ninja's Chofan. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel right at home. While they currently don't serve alcohol, the cozy atmosphere, live music, and warm hospitality make this spot a perfect 10/10 for a memorable date night.”

“We were expecting amazing food and service, only to be disappointed when just about everything was mid. We ordered: mofonguito planto, mofonguito yuca, passion fruit juice, spicy tuna roll, ninja chofan with steak, and ninja pollo. From everything we ordered, we recommend the mofonguito yuca and spicy tuna roll. The yuca was delicate and tasted amazing paired with ropa vieja. The mofonguito plátano, was a bit overfried and would have been better if they provided mayoketchup. The ninja chofan was underwhelming, the rice did not taste fresh. The ninja pollo was good, but not something I’d come back for. The passion fruit juice tasted like the Goya brand, not natural juice. The service was okay, our waitress was not attentive and seemed to be MIA most of the time. Worth noting– there were a few things on the menu that they did not have at the time we went: maduros, cappuccino, and alcoholic beverages. Not the full-service experience we were looking forward to. This was an hour drive for us, and overall we’ve decided it’s not revisiting the restaurant.”

“I was highly recommended this restaurant, but I’m deeply disappointed that I wasted my birthday evening there. I ordered two appetizers and three main entrees, and unfortunately, they were all terrible except for one. We began our meal with two appetizers: spring rolls and La Yola. Unfortunately, I found neither to be particularly appealing in terms of flavor. However, we then moved on to sushi rolls, specifically the 508 and the Marimar. The 508 was excessively oily, and I couldn’t help but waste the excess oil. On the other hand, the Marimar was absolutely fantastic and couldn’t be faulted in any way. I also ordered my son some chicken and fries. Unfortunately, they were equally disappointing. The chicken was extremely dry and couldn’t even be fed to my son. The fries were also soaked in oil, making them unappetizing. The overall experience was quite disappointing. With only one waiter available, the service was slow, and I couldn’t help but wish I had chosen Chipotle instead. Our bill came to $100, I excepted more from a $100 bill for a party of 2 adults and one year old baby. The picture below truly captures the unappetizing state of the food.”
