“I was on my way to somewhere else when I saw this beautiful building. I walked in and was greeted by Hannah. The staff are so friendly, and when I looked at the menu, I thought I would try the blue cheeseburger with a glass of Rutherford Cabernet. Now I don’t exaggerate when I say I have never had a more delicious burger in my life, and I am not the biggest fan of burgers. Everything is homemade from the onion jam to every relish. The pickles were incredible, the french fries were divine. Gordon Ramsay himself would be hard pressed to create a more amazing meal, and I have eaten at his restaurants, which are incredible! I am about to try the bread pudding, but can I say this is the spot if you are looking for a romantic dinner or dining alone as I am sitting on the pavement in the sunshine. Old town Clovis has some treasures, but the absolute diamond has to be The Local!! I extend my thanks to Hannah and the other amazing members of staff who have served me a meal that is absolutely above and beyond! I got the burger medium well which turns out to be an amazing choice. The blue cheese with a glass of cab… This is absolutely gourmet! Thank you for making my day ❤️🍔”

“We had reservations and they sat us down fast.. Food came fast too hats off to the cooks.. The salmon is so delish!! The cilantro rice is so good !! Tempera string beans are great too !! Our experience here was on point!! We will be back !! Our server Kaitlyn did a amazing job keeping our glasses full (Coke products)😀 Our desserts the Cream Brûlée was a little watery and wasn’t caramelized enough and Bread pudding 👌 🔥”

“We may have encountered the NICEST and most chill server ever. What an overall lovely experience. Service was outstanding, and food was delicious. I'm 100% sure that you need to eat here, or at least enjoy a well-made cocktail. Wish I knew her name...she was great!”

“Went with a group of family and had to wait for the food so we started with drinks. Our host was very friendly, and had a good knowledge of the wine and the mixed drinks, and recommended a few things which we were pleasantly surprised. We went with the cheese and meat board first and it was pretty good. Different plates and the skirt steak with green sauce was well made. Overall a really nice place with a great vibe and decent tasteful food. Recommend”

“The food is not what is used to be. We’ve been coming here for years. We’ve spent birthdays and other special days at this restaurant. Today we ordered the bolognese and filet mignon, and both of them were unsatisfactory. The bolognese came in a standard RED(?!) sauce, and the meat was not minced per menu description. To top it off, the 2 pieces of bread offered were the size of croutons. The filet came undercooked per the medium-rare order, and the broccolini did not come bacon flavored that was also described on the menu. The watermelon paloma was great, thought they were out of three other beverages on the menu I asked for prior. The waitress who served us was kind an helpful, though I’m not sure that alone will make us want to return.”
