“This place clearly lives up to it's name after all these years. The service was top notch. The ambiance was absolutely perfect and every meal better than the previous. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu but I highly recommend the scallops and oysters! What a great twist on traditional food.”

He was attentive without being overwhelming, extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and made fantastic recommendations. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests and takes pride in what he does. Everything came out perfectly and he checked in at the right moments to make sure we were enjoying everything. Service like this honestly makes the whole dining experience. If you’re coming here, I highly recommend asking to sit in Rafael’s section. “The food was very good, especially the butternut squash ravioli. The lamb chops were cooked right although it came to the table lukewarm (preferred pairing it with mushed or fingerling potatoes, instead of the white beans). Dessert was very good as well. The atmosphere was not as welcoming and friendly as expected, especially from a high end establishment such as this one. Additionally, given the extreme scarcity and hassle to secure a reservation at a decent time at any given season, not sure it is worth the consideration.”

“I've never experienced anything like this. 30 minutes following the meal (long island duck), I experienced an incredibly sharp pain in my stomach while driving, and had to pull over to the side of the road to vomit. It persisted for hours so I stopped by the ER on my way home and was told I had gotten food poisoning. Again, this has never happened to me. The duck was not cooked well or may have been spoiled. I called the restaurant to make them cognizant of this, and left a voice message.”
