“We visited several wineries in the area, and this was our favorite! We were greeted by the sweetest pups when we arrived. The manager was so friendly and provided a wonderful tasting for us based upon what we liked (instead of just a prescribed flight of wines). As we commented on a couple of them, he brought us other samples he thought we'd like better (and we did). Exactly what a visit to a winery should be...we left with a couple of bottles of our favorites. A definite 5 star experience!”

“I have never left a review anywhere before but I had a really weird disappointing experience here. Started with asking the guy at the counter if they had any food options as I had seen some pictures of delicious looking food others have posted. The guy basically said that he has a charcuterie plate in the fridge but that it was about 3 days old and that was all they had. Okay no thanks… then he asked me what type of wine I like and told him I mostly like rose and white wine that are not super dry, a little on the sweeter side. All he says is that they don’t have rose and none of their wines are sweet at all. I was fine with that as I’m not picky, and had driven pretty far into the Applegate to try a new winery so I kept looking over the wine list. He then asked to see my ID. I’m 23 and haven’t had to renew my ID yet so I have a vertical ID. He then tells me he can’t accept vertical ID’s after barely looking at it. It is very clearly not a fake which is obvious when you look at it, and my birthday is on there so I don’t understand why it being vertical would be a big enough issue to not serve me, but at that point I wasn’t really wanting to give my money there anyways. Not sure if maybe I was just being treated less seriously because I look young but it was overall a really odd and unwelcoming experience.”
