Ward 4 is an upscale neighborhood pub named after the neighborhood we represent. The dream of 2 long time Newton residents, who always wanted a neighborhood pub when they were growing up. A place where you can come and relax, be yourself, share some laughs and great experiences, and not to mention great food and drink. In the neighborhood, for the neighborhood!
“Great food with mostly gluten-free options. My group met there for a late dinner & were happily surprised to have live music on a Wednesday. The different musicians were great, just a little loud as we were right next to the band. We had to yell to talk to each other & repeat for people at opposite ends of the table. Still had a great time & enjoyed the food, company and music!”
“Food and service was awesome. Had a short wait to be seated only because of the time of day which was no problem. Got seated and greeted in a timely manner. The bartender/waitress (sorry, didn't catch her name. Was at 430pm on a Thursday) was excellent. Will definitely be back to try those steak tips.”
“We came on a busy night and the bartender still made my friends and I feel welcomed. We got the hummus board, truffle fries, chicken sandy, and Caesar salad and liked everything. They have a great liquor selection and a great atmosphere all thanks to the servers. Will be back again!”
“I had a wonderful experience at Ward 4. The environment was excellent from the moment we arrived. The bartender actually came to our table to check on us, which felt very thoughtful. She carefully explained the menu and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic, the fish tacos and the buffalo tenders were absolutely incredible and full of flavor. I also loved the elegant Boston-inspired décor. It has the charm of a lovely pub while still feeling refined and welcoming. What stood out to me is that it feels both family-oriented and perfect for a date night. Whether you’re going out with family or looking for a cozy dinner spot, this is an excellent choice. ⭐️”
“What a great neighborhood gastro pub! I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was here for such an unassuming bar & restaurant! We wanted a casual place to take our kids to dinner, and I am already looking forward to coming back with friends. The chicken wings with the bbq bourbon sauce was tasty and not too sweet. My daughter said it was the best burger she's had in a while. I had a delicious Cajun spiced shrimp dish with jasmine rice that was cooked perfectly. The sides of Brussels and hummus board were also quite good! Not to mention my spicy margaritas were delicious!! Will check out a Thurs night when they have live music.”
