Willamette Wineworks, a microwinery, is a wine, blending and food experience created by Willamette Valley Vineyards. The unique hands-on wine-blending experience will allow our guests to learn more about the process of winemaking and enjoy their own wine creation. We do allow reservations up to 30 mins before we close to be as flexible as possible. Making reservation towards the end of the business day will shorten the experience time from 90 minutes. We also do last call for food a 30 minutes before we close and last call for beverages 15 minutes before close. Please call us at (916) 542-7417 if you have questions or concerns. We look forward to seeing you in the tasting room. Cheers!
“I took my best friend here for her birthday, and it was worth every penny! We had an amazing time, and our tableside tasting with Jen truly made the experience special. Her recommendations were absolutely spot on, and thanks to her guidance, we ended up bringing several bottles home with us. She was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the whole tasting feel personal and memorable!”
“Chantel was our server and made our visit extra special, so knowledgeable about wines and the area, and attentive. We enjoyed some wine tasting and small bites from Scott's Seafood Restaurant. The outdoor patio was perfect, even caught a beautiful sunset. Our favorite wine was the Zinfandel, but they were all good. We highly recommend this wonderful location, right on historic Sutter St.”
“If you’re looking for a tasting room that feels polished, welcoming, and consistently well-run, Willamette Wineworks is an easy recommendation. I’ve been coming in regularly for over a year, and it’s the kind of place that keeps earning repeat visits: a strong, rotating wine selection, a comfortable atmosphere, and service that actually stands out. The staff across the board is friendly and attentive, and Armando deserves a special mention. He’s knowledgeable, upbeat, and genuinely helpful, the kind of person who makes a tasting feel relaxed and personal without ever being pushy. The location is a big part of the experience. Set in Historic Folsom above Scott's Seafood Roundhouse, the upstairs tasting room has balcony seating that’s perfect for fresh air and people-watching. When the weather turns, the patio heaters outside and the indoor fireplace create a warm, cozy vibe that makes you want to linger. They also offer a small, well-chosen food menu through their partnership with Scott’s Seafood, and it’s ideal for pairing. The soups are absolutely worth ordering, especially as a half-and-half bowl. The combination is unexpectedly great. The cheese options are an easy win with any flight, and the chocolate offering pairs beautifully with the red wines. If you want something more interactive than a standard tasting, the blend-your-own-wine experience is genuinely fun and surprisingly educational. You taste, take notes on flavor profiles, and experiment with blending until you land on something that feels like “your” wine. It’s a great way to learn more about the craft without it feeling gimmicky. They also have membership options with perks, including member-only deals and events, if you’re a regular. Overall: excellent wine, standout service, and a setting that works year-round. Great for a casual glass, hosting out-of-town guests, or doing something a little different with the blending session.”
“Us and another couple visited this tasting room in early Jan 2026. It was in a lovely setting, good snacks (from Scott's Seafood below), and great wine. Shantel was our host/server and did an excellent job. Although it was quite busy, we never felt overlooked and she kept the juices flowing. Her explanation of & assistance with the blending process was thorough & appreciated. Thanks to her, the four of us are now "master blenders" (in our opinion only). Cheers!”
“Quick visit to see my mom and decided to take her out for some wine tasting. Willamette was the right place for a relaxing afternoon. Tori was the perfect host who talked to us about the history of Willamette’s winery and wines. We went with their red flight where we explored all kinds of delicious flavors. Their charcuterie board also paired nicely. The apricot jelly was amazing! Relaxing atmosphere with a laid-back sophisticated feel. Nice price point for tasting and wine. I definitely recommend a visit!”
