“What a unique creative spot in downtown Meridian. We went with another couple, but I can see it would be great for a date night. Shannon is so helpful and has a huge selection of plants and containers along with many fun additions to personalize your terrarium.”

“Wood and root bar has such a great calm and inviting vibe. It’s a fun experience! The owner is super knowledgeable and walks you through things step by step. There are projects of varying prices. If you plan on doing a terrarium they do range in price as well. You can easily go for the top make a big beautiful terrarium or keep something more simple. Overall, remember, it’s an experience and not something you get to do every day. Enjoy!”

“First time coming in and we loved it. The owner was so attentive even when it was packed. She made sure everyone in that room had the best experience possible. She walked me through which plants thrive in which conditions, to make sure my terrarium was healthy and long lasting. There's a lot of drink options, alcoholic and nonalcoholic. The atmosphere was relaxing, and everyone was considerate of each other. I recommend a reservation at least on the weekends! You can tell the owner is passionate about her work. I love that we have a place like this in the valley.”

“My daughter and I made an impromptu visit to this place back in November, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The two women working that day- one of whom I believe was the owner - were absolutely amazing. They guided us through every step of the process with enthusiasm, making us feel truly welcomed. Their passion for what they do was contagious, and it made the entire experience even more special. While the prices are on the higher side, I completely understand why. The level of service they provide is exceptional, taking the time to explain not just the steps, but also the reasoning behind each one. They carefully source all their plants to ensure they thrive in a terrarium setting, categorizing them and helping you understand what works best. I’ll be sharing photos from the day of our visit, as well as an update on my terrarium - it’s still thriving! I can confidently say I got my money’s worth. This is the perfect spot for a date night, girls’ night out, mother-daughter bonding, or any gathering with like-minded people. Plus, they serve wine and other spirits, adding to the fun atmosphere. We will absolutely be back! Highly recommend.”

“I feel like our experience could have been much better. My friend booked everything and there were no prices online, and we arrived & discovered why. The terrariums are expensive, the plants are very overpriced--$10 to start for tiny ones--and then the environment wasn't super positive. I wish I could say that it was a really amazing experience, and spending time with one's friends is, but it didn't feel very welcoming. I found out my friend had to pay a deposit just to reserve a table. We were immediately told to put our drinks away or have them put behind the bar (a closed non-alcoholic drink and a water bottle) because of the liquor license & its strictness (?). There were people having fun, & making cute stuff. The actual place is beautiful. The owner was good at explaining how to position the plants for the right water balance, but... It fell flat. $70 for a terrarium, drink, 2 plants? I would rather just go try it on my own.”
