Ah-So Sushi & Steak - Goodyear

“The host and hostess were kind of rude. The waitress and the chef were awesome. We all had a really good time. There was an incident when the chef asked the busser to get another steak, the boat gave him attitude and was rude. It seems that the bussing staff and hosts/ hostesses could use some more training on manners how to act around customers, not other than that, the experience was good. Our waitress and chef (we did teppanyaki). The food was excellent. We had the chicken, scallops, filet mignon, shrimp, and steak. Everything was delicious. We also had crab stuffed avocados before. That was also good. I recommend going here but it is a little pricey. Still, all in all, very good.”

“I called to place an order for pickup and the first impression was great. The lady who answered was very polite and enthusiastic. I ordered over $100 worth of food and she gave me information when I had questions about specific food. I ordered some sushi, steak, shrimp and chicken plates and chicken wings. I was given the option to receive either miso soup or a salad complimentary. The food was hot and fresh by the time I got it at home. The steak was still tender even the next day. I haven’t sat down here in a couple of years, but when I did, it was a great atmosphere with the boys!”

“We come here fairly regularly and while generally we are happy with both food and service, tonight was awful. It seemed as if they had an entirely new staff that had never worked before. The hosts didnt seem to know what was going on and didn’t put our name down on the wait list for the grill initially. Then, when we were sat, it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks (sodas). The manager had brought out the soups and salads but didn't hand them out and the waitress didn't attempt to hand them out until we had already been served some of our food by the cook. The fried rice was overly peppered and the yum yum sauce was runny. The only good thing was the protein. Overall, it was a bad experience tonight and highly disappointing.”

“The food was good but the hostess who was working the night of 1/14/26 had a very bad attitude. When we arrived and I told her it was my wife's birthday and we had reservations, she simply told us to sit down and wait for our table. When we were leaving and I thanked her and told her we enjoyed our meals she said "The front door is over there" You can't justify it by saying she was busy because she was all by herself up front and it was not a busy night. That was our go to spot for special occasions but now we won't go back not just because of that hostess but because apparently this restaurant is comfortable hiring people like this. It's very unfortunate.”

“I wouldnt waste your time or money at this place. The service was horrible we didnt get our soups or salads until our food was ready. I sat down and it took them 15 mins to get me a beer and they werent even busy. She took for ever to get refills. The place wasnt even busy. The serving sizes were small and they dont even serve shrimp with your meal anymore. I actually left still hungry and im on a diet. The one off of Bell and 75th is 💯 better. Their serving sizes are bigger and they serve shrimp with ever dish. The food taste fresh. Their service is always amazing. We were warn about this location being bad. But decided to go anyways We will never go to this location again. We will just go to the one off of bell.”
