Andante Vineyard is a sanctuary for lovers of wine, music, nature, and the company of friends. Nestled within the rolling hills of the Van Duzer Corridor American Viticultural Area (AVA) of Oregon's Willamette Valley, Andante Vineyard stewards 15 acres of estate grape vines and 27 acres of gardens, oak woods, pond, and pastureland. A collaborative, family-owned winery with a welcoming tasting room, a robust culinary program, and a team of authentic and passionate people. Our 15-acre estate vineyard is planted with our beloved grapes: Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Aligoté, and Gamay noir. Our wines are fermented naturally, expressing the true nature of the grapes and the site on which they are grown. With a small production every vintage, our wines are available in limited quantities at our winery, at our online store, and through select retailers and restaurants in the Willamette Valley. In the classical music lexicon, 'andante' is synonymous with a moderate tempo, sometimes referred to as a “walking" pace. This is the rhythm of Andante Vineyard - intentional, forward-moving, but never with such haste that life's precious simplicities are lost.
“I am still dreaming of this butter and the honey. I realize this is a seasonal dish but wow is it amazing. Alec is always delightful and your new chef is a fun and inviting character.”
“What a gem of a place! I spent a night in my van there, after a delightful tasting. Alec was engaging, knowledgeable and kind. I am no wine expert and often weary of the snobbish attitude of some wine connoisseurs. Alec made me feel welcomed and appreciated. And what a view! Words can’t do justice so sharing some pictures.”
“We had a great tasting at Andante recently. Love a vineyard where you meet the owners. As soon as we pulled up, Karen gave us a warm greeting and we met Joe and their pup a short time later. Property is a pretty place to enjoy a stay for a couple hours and we walked in their garden after our tasting. Wines were tasty. They had some offerings that were a little different from typical flavors of certain varietals and we enjoyed that. Would certainly visit again in our next trip through the area.”
“We recently had an amazing Harvest Host stay at Andante vineyard in Oregon with a wine tasting and lunch experience. The landscape is absolutely stunning and a slice of heaven. The wines were delightful, especially on a hot summer day. The owners and staff were super friendly, knowledgeable, and provided a welcoming and relaxing overnight experience! Will definitely return. P.S. watching the cranes roost in the trees at night were an added bonus by the pond!”
“Andante Vineyard is a lovely stop off Smithfield Road on your way to McMinnville or Portland. A delightful array of both red and white varietals served as a flight, by the glass or bottle. Don't miss the menu of bits and full plates, the coconut shrimp and roasted broccoli are not to be missed. Indoor and terrace seating with generous views of the bucolic vineyard. End your tasting with a stroll around the gardens. A leisurely and inspiring experience.”
