We offer tastings daily by appointment. Reservations are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Seating is either in our spacious tasting room or outdoors on our patio overlooking the vineyards. Tastings are offered between 10 am and 4 pm. Order pick up available in our Estate Room foyer from 10 am to 5 pm. ***Don’t get stranded! Ride services are unreliable in our area. Uber/Lyft may drop you off at Elk Cove, but they will not pick you up without prior arrangements.*** Family-farmed for over five decades. 100% Estate Grown and Bottled. Founded in 1974 by Pat and Joe Campbell and named for the elk herd that roams nearby, Elk Cove’s six estate vineyards stretch from Oregon’s Yamhill-Carlton hillsides to the peaks of the Chehalem Mountains. In 1995, Adam Campbell joined forces with his parents as a second-generation winemaker and 5th generation Oregon farmer. Adam believes you can only create exceptional cool-climate wines by growing the best fruit possible: “High quality wine really starts in the vineyard. At the end of the day, I need great vineyard sites and impeccable farming to make phenomenal wines.”
“We had a wonderful experience at Elk Cove Vineyards. The wine was all excellent and the food was delicious. Paige, our server was knowledgeable and efficient. Two wines to note that I really liked, both Pinot Noir, the 2023 Roosevelt vineyard and the 2023 Five Mountain vineyard. Excellent!”

“We loved our wine tasting at Elk Cove vineyards looking over the beautiful views and enjoying delicious wines and appetizers. The servers were friendly and informative, and let us try a couple of extra wines that were open. My husband loves Pinot Gris and the reserve was especially good. The dry Reisling was delicious as were the Pinot Noirs. We brought our little dog and sat on the patio with blankets and heaters to keep us warm. The tasting room inside was beautiful too. We had the Mediterranean plate with delicious dolmades, hummus and olives. Altogether a very lovely experience. Google maps took its on a circuitous route there but we went through Newberg on our way home and it was much easier! Highly recommend!”
