Steve and Seanne Contursi love great wines, especially those from Bordeaux. In 2007, they came across a beautiful farmhouse in Napa Valley surrounded by a vineyard planted to Cabernet Franc, just like some of their favorite vineyards from France. So began their journey with Arrow&Branch, first with a single bottling of a Cabernet Franc Blend, then slowly adding wines from other renowned sites from across Napa Valley. In addition to the Arrow&Branch Estate Vineyard in Coombsville, formerly owned by famed winemaker Tony Soter, we source fruit from pedigreed vineyards such as Vine Hill Ranch, Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Beckstoffer To Kalon, Beckstoffer Las Piedras, Stagecoach, Meteor, and Lady Liberty. We seek to make wines with uncompromising quality, precision and longevity, but most importantly, true to the vineyards they come from. The Arrow&Branch name pays homage to the Contursi Family's leadership in the United States rare coin industry and to our American heritage. Found on the reverse of most United States coinage is an eagle holding arrows and an olive branch in its talons - signifying peace and strength.

“We visited Arrow&Branch yesterday with a group of seven—including an infant—and had an amazing experience from start to finish. One of the biggest highlights for us was simply that they allowed infants. You’d be surprised how many Napa wineries don’t, so being welcomed here made a huge difference on our family trip. We booked the Sense of Place Single Vineyard Tasting Experience, and the timing was perfect—we arrived right as harvest season had just wrapped up. The team was in cleanup mode, preparing everything for winter, which actually made things even more interesting. We were given a brief tour of the facility (a big plus, since most of our group hadn’t done a wine tour before), and it added a really cool behind-the-scenes element to the visit. The tasting itself went deep into their collection, which is exactly what we wanted. Michael guided us through the entire experience and even sat down with us during the tasting. He walked us through the background of each Cabernet we tried, starting with a really nice Sauvignon Blanc. The level of detail, passion, and personal attention was outstanding. Another thoughtful touch—they asked for our preferred music ahead of time, which made the whole atmosphere feel curated specifically for us. Overall, Arrow&Branch delivered a warm, intimate, and memorable experience. Highly recommend for anyone who wants something personal, educational, and truly special in Napa. We’ll definitely be back.”

“A solid "no thank you" on Arrow&Branch. We were referred to this winery by a couple of other wineries that we belong to, so we thought we'd give them a try. I called to reserve a tasting for two, and the person who took my call asked for my name, number of people in my party, and the date that we were interested in visiting, along with how we had heard of Arrow&Branch. After providing this information, she said that she would transfer me to someone who could assist me; then proceeded to do a cold transfer, so I had to repeat the information all over again to the next person, whose name was Michael. Even basic customer service standards acknowledge that warm transfers are much more well-received by clients. After providing my information for the second time, Michael indicated that he would need to call me back in "a few minutes." At this point I started to guess that their core competencies did not include guest reservations. Two hours later, I received a call back from Michael, followed by a text, indicating that they would be pleased to have me visit their estate. However, I also received a LinkedIn notification that informed me that Michael had viewed my profile. Apparently, this winery likes to screen and form pre-judgments about its guests while contemplating a guest's reservation request. I found this to be extremely distasteful, particularly as I had shared the fact that I had been referred by other very reputable Napa Valley wineries, which have actually been established much longer than Arrow&Branch. We were fairly disappointed that, as a lesser known winery in the Napa Valley, Arrow&Branch would attempt to be so exclusionary. Despite its presence at Brasswood Cellars for over a decade, it's a relatively newer wine label and a new standalone winery. We would have been happy to try it, as we are Napa locals and spend a great deal of time and expense on our wine cellar; instead, we were left with a "yuck" factor from their distasteful approach, so we cancelled our reservation.”
