“We absolutely loved this place despite not being huge wine people. They do not overcrowd the room, so even though it is full, it still felt very open. The person who helped us is incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He went above and beyond by customizing the experience to the us. This by far has been the best tasting experience that we have ever been to and will be hard to beat. Brown's specializes in mostly Zinfandel's. We personally were a fan of the Syrah and the Rose. If you end up purchasing wine that is 2x or more of the cost of the tasting then they will waive the tasting fee, this is a nice added benefit. We would absolutely visit here again and this is definitely a must if you are visiting Napa!”

“I would highly recommend Brown's Estate Downtown. The atmosphere is elegant, yet provides a level of comfort. You want to stay and explore what the tasting room has to offer. It did not disapoint. All of the wine sampled were superb. Our wine expert was knowledgeable and accomodating, as well as, all of the staff. My sister, who doesn't normally like wine, enjoyed the wines, the cheese board and the place as a whole. Fun and relaxing, make this a stop when in Napa.”

“Brown’s tasting room has such a cool vibe. This place would be dope for a friend’s hang or date. I could also see events hosted here too. From the Toni Cade Bambara quote on the wall when you entered, which I hear rotates, to the wine and food pairing tasting, I had a really good time. When you come in the off-season, the staff has more time to give personalized attention. Our host Joe was fun and informative. I enjoyed learning about pairing, tasting techniques, and the story of this winery. It was also lovely to see the photo of the family and vineyard on the wall. Check out the bathroom wallpaper when you’re there too. :-) If you place an order, the tasting fee is waived. Definitely make this place you visit while in Napa.”

“Had an amazing experience at Brown Downtown in Napa! My Wine Educator, Cynthia was great - very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. I did the wine tasting and the variations offered were reasonable (there are different flights you can try depending on your personal preference). My favorite was definitely Chaos Theory. Nice place to visit with a group or if you’re alone, if ever in the area.”
