“Sauvignon Blanc is so tasty! Chilled with some good nibbles on a warm afternoon, lovely. The hiking trail on the estate is 1.5hr. good hump up and down the hills and through the valleys. You'll be hungry and thirsty when you finish and may go directly on the wine. We loved the whole place. Our favorite in Sonoma.”
“What a beautiful winery! Bartholomew estate was so serene. Could’ve easily stayed here for several hours. Will be back!”
“Absolutely beautiful estate. We booked the last slot available and everyone was very gracious and welcoming. very professional waiters, definitely a more corporate feel. The tasting was a bit self guided but it was nice to be able to enjoy the wine and scenery by ourselves. Tastings were also very generous and wine was delicious! They don’t serve food or snacks but the crackers they provided were delicious. The best part was being able to explore the vineyard and the property as a whole. They even had a small, wine themed art gallery inside. We ended up purchasing a bottle of their Pinot Noir, I believe. We ended up not being able to check our luggage back home so we had to leave the bottle behind but will go back in a heartbeat next time we’re in California. 10/10 experience for a truly delicious tasting and a beautiful, large property where you can wonder the grounds without requiring a booked tour. Our host was very friendly and professional”
“A WONDERFUL experience. Friendly helpful service, scenic natural views outdoors. Beautiful vineyards even in winter. Lovely long hiking trail around the property that took me 1.5 hours to walk including some stops for photos. Wine tastings and purchases support maintaining the trail/park/property which are free to enjoy! Great place to relax and get away from the downtown bustle.”
“The Bartholomew Estate winery is a lovely intimate winery setting. The wines are pretty good, but there are better if you're in Sonoma or Napa, especially. To be clear-- the wine isn't bad. It just doesn't cater to my taste as much as I would like. The presentation, grounds, staff-- pretty much everything-- are quaint, romantic, and very picturesque. I would describe the wines that I had as being very tasty, but a bit soft. Glad that we went. But not sure if I'd keep it on the next rotation.”
