“We were in awe of all the details of decor on the wall, the color palette, the velvet booths, down to the rim on the plates. It was gorgeous, from every angle and in every room. Jeffery served us our tasting flight and answered our many dumb questions with grace and entertained us with conversation. The wine was out of this world and the food pairings were unique and delicious. Not a bad sip in the whole line of tasting. 5 stars out of 5 doesn’t seem like an antiquate representation of our experience. I would add more stars if possible.”

Ta’Rod guided us through each pour with the perfect balance of expertise and approachability, making the entire experience feel both refined and relaxed. He shared vineyard history, tasting notes, and food pairing insights with such enthusiasm that it elevated every sip. His storytelling brought the wines to life, and his attention to detail made us feel truly cared for. The tasting itself was exceptional—elegant, well-curated wines showcased in a stunning setting—but it was Ta’Rod who made the experience extraordinary. His professionalism, charisma, and authentic love for what he does made our visit stand out above other Napa tastings. If you’re visiting wine country, Bella Union is an absolute must, and if you’re lucky enough to have Ta’Rod as your host, you’re in for a world-class experience. “Fantastic experience at Bella Union today! We are members at Nickel and Nickel and have had splashes of their wines over the years and finally got to visit for a full tasting. We had Journey as our wine educator and she was fantastic! She really put the icing on top of a wonderful tasting experience. We are so happy with their wines and added on another 6 bottles from their reds and whites onto our club shipment with N&N. An absolute must visit when we come back to town on our next visit. Great vibe. Beautiful property.”

“I wanted to share feedback on my recent visit, as I believe it reflects both what your team does exceptionally well and an area with clear room for improvement. I have always had wonderful experiences at your property, and this visit was no exception in many ways. Your reservations team went above and beyond — I had booked the wrong dates via text, and despite it being a last-minute correction over my birthday weekend, they made it work seamlessly. That kind of hospitality is exactly why I keep coming back. Check-in was smooth, and discovering Bella Union for wine tasting was a genuine highlight. However, I do want to address a service issue that significantly impacted our experience. Our server was managing another table whose guests were loud and intoxicated, and as a result, we were repeatedly left waiting — most notably for an extended period between pours. We had clearly communicated that we had a 5 PM reservation and were eager to explore wines beyond the tasting menu, as I was interested in purchasing bottles to take home. Despite this, we were not prioritized, and I ultimately had to walk to the back of the venue myself to complete my payment. I want to be clear: I understand that difficult guests happen. What I would have expected, however, is for our server to proactively manage his section and ensure that all guests — including us — received attentive, timely service. This is especially important given that this was a birthday celebration, and the standard of service I associate with Far Niente’s family of wineries. This feels like an isolated incident, and I hope it is treated as such internally. I will return, but I would hate for this to happen to another guest.”

“My fault for not having a reservation. Felt like we were punished for it and sat at the bar and ignored. We did have a great savor who rescued us and turned the experience around. The place was only 1/4 full the whole time we were there, see my pics, so I dont know why I could not buy a tasting. Good wine just make sure you get a reservation.....”
