“I happened to find this cidery through National Cider month this year. I was so excited to try their cider that I signed up for their monthly cider club, sadly to find out that they don't ship to Minnesota. They worked with me on sending a few of their ciders though and I was hooked! Fast forward a few months and I happen to be in San Diego so we decided to stop in. The atmosphere was amazing! It was like finding a piece of the woods in the middle of busy San Diego. The staff was fantastic to interact with, the food was so delicious, and the cider is fabulous! I have a huge love for dry ciders and their ciders check those boxes. Even the non-dry ciders are not overly sweet. Definitely will be back and hoping one day I can get their cider back here in Minnesota.”
“SO MANY GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS! Dedicated fryer for gluten free French fries. Delicious Asian chicken dish. And the cider is also fantastic. For anyone who is or loves someone with celiac, this is the place to go.”
“Amazing Vibes & Must-Try Hummus! Bivouac in North Park is the perfect mix of cozy and cool, with lodge-inspired decor and a great vibe. The Green Goddess Hummus plate is a standout—super creamy, packed with flavor, and paired perfectly with warm pita and crisp veggies. It’s fresh, light, and addictive. Their cider selection is just as impressive, with something for everyone—from dry and crisp to bold and fruity. The staff is friendly, the space is dog-friendly, and the whole experience feels like a little escape. Don’t miss it—and definitely don’t skip the hummus!”
“Such a great and unique atmosphere. It was like an elevated/gourmet food & drink court with an adorable shop and bar nextdoor. Woman owned who supports other small San Diego and women owned businesses. The food was delicious, the cider (i am not a cider fan but tried it) was light, refreshing and delicious and their old fashioned was spectacular. The bathrooms were unique, along with the amazing art on the walls. Next time in North Park, stop in. You will not be disappointed. Bonus, super dog friendly in there!!!”
“Don't come hungry. We waited an hour for our food and it wasn't even busy. A friend of the bartender arrived, he was the last one seated, and served his burger immediately. We were hoping the food was worth the wait, bit it wasn't. I had the falafel wrap. It was overly salty, and otherwise bland. The falafel were so hard, it was like crunching on rocks. I was excited for the polenta tots, but they tasted like nothing. 1 star because at least the cider was tasty. Won't be back.”
