“Me and my dad had breakfast here for our last morning here in Williamsburg. Have to say we made a good choice. Belgian waffle I had plus the coffee was great. Definitely will come back the next time im in town.”
“A beautifully designed, immaculate bistrot. High quality materials throughout, right down to the heavy pewter coffee cups. The tin ceiling and bar are classic. (The Julia Child cooking videos above the bar was a nice touch.) Service was spot on (thanks Phillip). The duck Condit salad was delicious and generous. Lovely and quiet outdoor dining area includes fire pit tables.”
“It's been far too long since my last visit here, and I am delighted that today's lunch more than lived up to my memory! I ordered my favorite, the chicken Cæsar salad, and it was fresh, crunchy, and full of shredded rotisserie chicken. My dining companions had the steak-frîtes and the bœuf Bourguignon - the steak was apparently just a *bit* overcooked but the truffle fries are to die for. The bœuf Bourguignon was incredible, the sauce deeply flavorful and unctuous. My cucumber cocktail was light and refreshing, and glory hallelujah, they've brought back the big bowl of chocolate mousse that I haven't seen since before lockdown (so yummy I forgot to take a photo). The mousse is delightfully smooth and not too sweet, a perfect end to the meal. Our server was lovely, attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu (I don't remember her name, but she has Rainbow Fish earrings!) I left with an utterly content stomach, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!”
“This was the perfect first night dinner here in Williamsburg. Our food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant had a great vibe. The staff was attentive. We were well cared for, but we were not rushed out of there.”
“Visited Blue Talon Bistro recently. Our server with blue hair wasn’t very friendly at the beginning and didn’t communicate with us well, though she was better by the end of the meal. The food was alright—nothing amazing, but decent. The portion sizes were good and filling. We spent around $90 for a couple, which felt a little high for the overall experience. Overall, it was an okay visit, but the service could have started off much better.”
