A North Williamsburg mainstay led by owner Julie Park, Cafe Colette is bright, warm, and known for its brunch — albeit satisfies at dinner, too. In the morning, there’s warm chocolate toast and egg-centric fare, midday brings a crispy chicken sandwich, and dinner means handmade pastas. And the wine list? Approachable and au naturel.
“As a family who enjoys trying new restaurants throughout the city to find the best pancakes. Cafe Colette felt like a neighborhood gem my family and I stumbled upon. We were well taken care of due to our waitress being phenomenal. Arlette went out of her way to answer any questions regarding the menu, recommendations, and handled everything with grace although it was busy. The atmosphere was a fun mix of everything. The pancakes were amazing! Will definitely be returning for the pancakes as much as possible and have a favorite waitress in mind.”
“I had the breakfast hash and tea. It’s was so good and tasty. I added bacon which I would recommend. Great searing and great service. I would come again!”
“Very quaint and lowkey in Williamsburg. I had the burger and my fiancée had the french toast situation. The French toast was made with Japanese milk bread! Make sure you add the berries too because it completes it. The burger was pretty rad too. Juicy, crunchy but soft bun, crispy fries. This that kinda spot you bring a date or a good friend to. Somewhere that’s very intimate and delicious.”
“Very nice place. They were very busy when we arrived, but the service was excellent. The food didn't take long, and the service and attention were very good (the tables were very close together). The coffee and food were delicious. 10/10. The prices are very reasonable. All what we order was so yummy 😋”
“Such a wonderful, vibey space for a few drinks and a meal while playing cards with my friend. Attentive staff and good retro dance music. The fries were terrific, as was the squash pasta I had. The wine tends to be more expensive per glass than nearby ($15-17). Nice bathroom too, I’ll include since they’re usually not in the reviews already 😄”
