“One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. Got the happy hour special smash burger and fries and sticky toffee pudding for dessert - both phenomenal. Cute little spot!”
“Came here for brunch on a Sunday, it was everything we wanted and more. the ambiance and vibe is cozy and elevated. the staff was very welcoming and warm. we got a cold brew that was perfectly done and the portion served was appropriate 🤌 I had the steak tartare, which was amazing, served with sourdough. Looking forward to my next visit.”
“My husband and I were blown away by this place! We dined here last Friday and got there early so we could lock in one of the special burgers and the happy hour deals. Everything here is firing on all cylinders. The atmosphere is stunning and homey, the service is impeccable, and the food is insanely good. We loved every single item we had. Also $10 martinis for happy hour!!!!”
“Really good burger. Really good fries. Love the atmosphere and decor inside this place. It gets pretty crowded during busy days/hours. Recommend a reservation in advance.”
“Walked into Cozy Royale on a Sunday around 5:30 with no wait and grabbed seats at the bar. Water came out right away and service was quick throughout. The kind of place that gets the basics right before you even look at the menu. We came specifically for the dry-aged smashburger. On Sundays they serve it all day, which is worth knowing — weekdays it’s limited to 10 per day. It’s a 30-day dry-aged patty on a potato bun with a solid sauce and good pickles. The burger itself was an 8 out of 10. Well-executed, classic smash with good flavor. My only note is that a few more toppings would have pushed it further. But honestly, the fries were the real standout — crispy, well-salted, and better than the burger. We also got the sticky toffee pudding. It was good, but very sweet. The Maldon sea salt on top helped cut through it, and the cream cheese icing added a nice tartness as a contrast. What it’s missing is a scoop of ice cream. A warm, dense toffee pudding paired with something cold would completely elevate the dish — even a cream cheese ice cream as an add-on would do it. They should consider it. One heads up: the online menu doesn’t fully reflect what they’re actually serving or the current prices. Worth knowing before you go. The drinks looked great from what we saw around us. Someone next to us ordered an espresso martini, another had a beer-tini. We didn’t drink, but the bar program looks solid. Reverse happy hour is a nice touch and a reason to come back later in the evening. Still need to try the steak frites and the chicken. This is the kind of neighborhood spot you keep coming back to, and the vibe earns that. 4 out of 5 stars.”
