Originally planted in the 1880’s, Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros, a region located on the southern tip of Napa Valley, less than an hour from the Golden Gate Bridge. At Bouchaine, our focus is to craft vibrant, exciting wines with the elegance of Burgundy, the exuberance of California and the terroir of Carneros. We make over 20 wines including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Meunier, Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. “Great experience! We did the Terrace Tasting - a leisurely experience with good wine and a lovely view. After the tasting, we found out that our rental car broke down in the parking lot. The entire staff went above and beyond...they tried to jump-start the car and took amazing care of us while we figured things out. We really appreciated their kindness!”

“I always love coming to Bouchaine! I joined the wine club last year and recently visited with family in town from Wisconsin. We had an excellent wine educator, Victor Davis - he was both funny and knowledgeable. It was the first winery we visited on our 3 day trip in Napa and started our experience off right! The view from the terrace is beautiful and it's so peaceful to sit up there and enjoy some lovely wine and company. A definite recommendation!”

As a club member, it’s always such a pleasure to visit, and this experience was especially memorable. Annie was so helpful in arranging our reservation over the phone—such a warm and seamless start to our day.
My daughter Chandra, her friend Chrissie, and I were celebrating an all-girls early birthday weekend (for both Chandra and me), and Bouchaine was the perfect stop. Rob hosted us, and he was absolutely fabulous—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire tasting feel relaxed and special.
The wines were outstanding, especially the whites and the Pinots—elegant, expressive, and truly delicious. Paired with a gorgeous warm day in Carneros and the beautiful setting at the winery, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
Not surprisingly, we left with a full case of wine! Bouchaine continues to impress every time—highly recommend! 💕🍷”
