Join us on Mondays & Thursdays when we open large format bottles from our library for service. It’s a rare opportunity to experience these rarities by the glass, while supplies last. A Napa Valley heritage producer since 1972, Burgess preserves a vineyard legacy that began in the 19th century. As winegrowers we understand we are part of a natural system, which we nourish through regenerative, promiscuous farming. Monocultures don’t belong in planting—or thinking. Our farms at Sorenson and St. Andrews vineyards are where our principles meet action, offering classically proportioned wines of grace, made with minimal intervention. “Top tasting! Burgess was recommended to us from another winery. It was my wife’s Birthday and that made it an exceptional experience. Wine was great, winery is BEAUTIFUL and our host Leo was so amazing. He was educated as well and very fun to talk with during our tasting. “Upon our second visit to Burgess Cellar which were hosted by Joshua both times, I was compelled to post a review for this fine establishment! We were shown the outside garden of the Cellar and were treated with a hand picked figs right from the plant, after walking through the garden, we walked through the secret door to the “Speak Easy” tasting room with charcuterie set on the table. We sampled Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Fanc & Cabernet Sauvignon. We were totally blown away with the entire experience (both times),Joshua is an excellent Estate Ambassador. Burgess with Joshua, promised to give you an unforgettable experience! Just don’t forget to take some bottles home to keep the memories alive. Cheers 🥂”
“Gorgeous views, gardens, and wines. We had an excellent tasting and tour with the La Terre experience. The grounds and main house are beautiful. Our host was Lyndsi - she made the tasting so special and educational. We learned so much! I think the best thing we learned was that the wines at Burgess were some of our favorites. Highly recommended!”
