Looking to explore beyond the tasting room? Our guided Trail Rides offer a scenic horseback experience through the surrounding wine country landscape, available Friday through Sunday by advance reservation. Set across 107 acres of vineyards, gardens, orchards, and open countryside, Buttonwood is a place to gather, unwind, and experience a different side of Santa Ynez Valley wine country.

“We had a great time at Buttonwood. The location is very accessible if you are close to Solvang. There is a nice, laid back atmosphere where the tasting is and you can see part of the vineyard. Cate was extremely friendly and helped guide us through our tasting. She went above and beyond and let us try one of our favorite varietals- cabernet franc. The wine was fantastic and we ended up buying a bottle. I would recommend coming here.”

“The Buttonwood Farm and Vineyards in Solvang California is a small boutique winery in the rolling hills of the area. Our hostess Kate, was very attentive and knowledgeable to the winery and to wine in general. Our group of 6 had some wine tastings, glasses of their offerings and a couple of charcuteries. They are very good wines served in a pleasant and very casual setting.”
