What stood out the most was the care and attention given to every aspect from the delicious food and drinks to the seamless organization that allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and it truly showed. Vinny was fantastic. This day meant so much to us as we prepare to welcome our baby, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to celebrate. We are incredibly grateful for such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to create lasting memories for their special occasion. “A huge thank you to Caroline and all of the staff at Cefalu for the amazing attention and service. We are beyond thrilled with our baby shower that we held in the main dining room at Cefalu in mid March. The staff was so helpful with table set up and making sure all of our details were done as we expected. We appreciated that on the day of event someone went over every details before our party started; from when we wanted drink service and food service to start to asking if we wanted our cake cut for our guests. The staff was all so respectful and kind and could not say enough good things. The main dining room was of course beautiful and really elevated our baby shower as well. If you are looking for a place to host a baby shower or any celebration, we highly recommend the beautiful dining space at Cefalu Seaside Sicilian in Elk Grove Village.”

“Food, service, and ambiance was impeccable. Staff were very friendly as well as the GM. Had a chance to thank him, his name was Michele. Nice to see a leader on the floor hands on supporting the team. Had the pecorino pizza, meatballs, cannoli dip, chocolate lava cake and some wine. Nice wine selection. Danny the bartender top notch as well.”

“first time at Cefalu for a father’s day dinner! we had a very kind server who took the time to explain the full menu. we got a few drinks and loved the bourbon limoncello and smoky old fashioned! for the food- the pasta norma was recommended as the best vegetarian option. it was good, had a nice tomato sauce, however there was a very small amount of eggplant… the caccio e peppe was good and very rich! our dad got the red fish special and enjoyed it and was happy he ordered the sauce on the side! our mom liked the prosciutto pizza but it seemed a bit bready and the last dish wash the gorgonzola pasta which was very nice we tried the tableside tiramisu and it was delicious! :) overall- reccomend”

“Just not worth the price at all and if you’re a smaller amount of people it feels like the waitstaff basically ignore you. Went there for my sisters birthday and it was really a let down. Kids running around everywhere, even playing with my purse at one point, we were given soft moldy olives and cheese, and my $35 octopus came with basically one potato, and more of the soft gross olives. Plenty of better places out there, looks better than it is.”
