Chef Jonathon led our group and was an absolute pleasure—professional, fun, and full of great insights. Chefs Kim and Cassandra were equally awesome and brought such great energy to the night. The kitchen setup was top-tier with JennAir professional appliances, making the hands‑on cooking feel exciting and effortless. We learned to make Potato Gnocchi in Creamy Mushroom Sauce, and watched a fantastic demo of Vitello Tonnato—both absolutely delicious! 🍷 Throughout the evening, we enjoyed five incredible wines from the Piedmont region, perfectly paired with Italian meats and cheeses. The whole experience felt like cooking with friends in a family kitchen—warm, relaxed, and full of laughter. ⭐ Overall: A+++ An excellent, memorable experience we will cherish forever. “My mom and I did a wine night at Cirillo’s and it was a great experience! We want to do it again! We were a little worried at first because we are not wine connaisseurs or even cooking enthusiasts but the experience was fabulous! We learned on wines and learned new cooking techniques! The staff is very knowledgeable and will coach you the entire way without being snobby (which was one of my fears). The whole process makes for a very enjoyable evening. I would highly recommend if you are looking for something food oriented to do in the city, This is it!”

“We recently attended a class at Cirillo’s in Toronto. The staff were excellent, warm, fun, and very professional. The space itself is gorgeous, and the equipment is truly five‑star. From an atmosphere and hospitality standpoint, everything was outstanding. The disappointing part was the actual “cooking class” experience. We made a Beef Wellington, but almost every component was already prepared for us. The beef was pre‑seasoned and seared ahead of time, the pastry was fully pre‑made and rolled out, and the duxelles (the main mushroom filling) was also completely done before we arrived. All we actually did was spread the duxelles onto the pastry and roll the beef inside—no prep, no technique demos, no cooking times, and no real teaching involved. For a few hundred dollars, I expected to learn how to make the dish, not simply assemble it. Because of that, I left unable to recreate anything at home. The term “cooking class” felt misleading. Staff and space: 5 stars. Actual hands‑on cooking and teaching: 1–2 stars. Overall: 3/5.”
