Leo is a New American restaurant in the Annapolis neighborhood of Annapolis.
“As a local in Annapolis for over 10 years, I have to say Leo truly impressed me. First time trying it, and I absolutely loved it. The ambience is amazing, the food was fantastic, and the overall experience was top tier. We’ll definitely be regulars moving forward. Highly recommend trying the burgers , they did not disappoint. The soup was incredible as well, and the cocktails and mocktails were all so well done. So happy we finally gave this place a try.”
“I don’t even know where to begin. Everything was just THAT good. To start, we had the “Something About Her” cocktail—if rum punch had an older sister that went to college, this would be her! It was so incredibly fresh and elevated. I would have had multiple if I I could. Then, the smash burger…chef’s kissssss. No exaggeration, the best burger I’ve ever had! Yes, it was that good. Don’t you dare come to Leo and NOT try it. Let’s talk about the Brussel sprouts; are you kidding me?! Deliciousness! Fair warning, if you’re sensitive to heat, it may creep up on you. It’s spicy, crispy, crunchy, and just all around amazing. Perfectly cooked, no notes. Next, I’d never had a fried grit before and this has me wondering why. I can’t explain the experience, you just have to try it. We had the deconstructed cannoli for dessert. The combination of strawberry mascarpone vanilla ice cream and crumble… next level! In addition to the excellent food, the service was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone was so kind and welcoming on our first visit. It goes without saying, this place was a 10/10. Leo has become one of my favorite restaurants in all of Maryland. Special shoutout to Marcus and Jacob for being wonderful hosts.”
“Best meal we’ve had in Annapolis by far! Cozy interior, wonderful service, and the food was delicious! Highly recommend the mushroom ragout, Peanut Butter dessert, and focaccia with apple butter.”
“Wonderful all the way around! Very unique menu. Nothing that says same old same old...Outstanding, started with the best roasted oysters that I have ever had! Next, the poached pear salad. Our mains, Susquehanna Snakehead, milk poached, ginger, scallion, sushi rice. Chicken Roulade, mushroom duxelles burnt onion Louise. Both, delicious, and incredible flavors. Service as good as our meal. Menu is hyper seasonal and meets every culinary need and want. Definitely coming back!”
“Great local spot. Small plates with with an emphasises on delicious 😋 Didn't have the smash burger but will be back. The star of the evening was the oyster stew appetizer which should be elevated to a main course!!”
