“Very nice restaurant, offering a cozy and signature ambience that welcomes you when you enter. The menu offers a good variety of meat and fish, the crab dip and the beef tartare were very good and tasty, while dessert was normal. The service was fast but I waitresses were a bit too much present I would say, checking on us very often.”
“I had a lunch meeting in Atlanta with Meaghan Skerchock, CEO of Perspectiv Inc. I Googled “Best places for lunch” and 5Church came up. The experience was divine. Brittany Louis gave provided an amazing tour of the facility and the art. Quinten , the waiter offered explanations for the selections and made sure to remind us to get our parking validated. An all around 5-star experience.”
“Josh knew the menu and was exceptionally attentive. He offered the best pairings of cocktails and food. I had the Crab appetizers which was so good., The Wildcard ccocktails with my dinner was perfection. The cocktail and dessert was a treat. All the flavors were robust and delightful. You could tell the chef put effort and love into their creatations. Loved the ambiance and the vibe of the restaurant. The floor managers were very attentive and responsive.”
“When the service is impeccable, it makes you want to come back even if the food is just but ok. But 5Church has EXCELLENT food and service and the ambiance is so artful. I loved it! Kam is such a sweetheart and excellent waitress and singer! Ahmed was very nice, funny and charming. He made sure to take care of our table during my Sis’ birthday. We will definitely be back here! ❤️🥰”
“We were really excited to try this place because the ambiance and décor are honestly incredible. The space is beautiful, stylish, and very well designed—probably one of the nicest dining rooms we’ve seen in a while. Unfortunately, everything else about the experience completely ruined what could have been a great night. When we first sat down, our server approached us almost immediately and showed great knowledge of the menu. He explained the dishes well and helped us with a few recommendations, which gave us a very good first impression. Unfortunately, after that initial interaction, he completely disappeared. It became extremely difficult to get any attention or assistance for the rest of the evening. The service quickly fell apart. Tables around us remained dirty for long periods of time and were not cleared, which made the dining area look neglected. We ordered specialty cocktails, but they didn’t arrive until about 30 minutes later, and only after we asked about them again. When they finally came, they were very disappointing—extremely watered down and almost flavorless. The wait for food was even worse. After placing our order, we waited around 45 minutes for our dishes to arrive. By that point, the experience was already frustrating. When the food finally came out, the presentation looked great—beautifully plated and visually appealing—but the flavors did not match the appearance at all. The grilled octopus and the shrimp and grits were honestly very bad. Both dishes lacked flavor and were very disappointing considering how good they looked on the plate. The lamb burger ended up being the only good thing we tried during the entire meal. Overall, our dining experience lasted about an hour and a half, and most of that time was spent waiting—for drinks, for food, and for service. What started with a promising first interaction quickly turned into a very frustrating experience. It’s a real shame because the décor and ambiance are fantastic, but they are completely overshadowed by poor service, long wait times, watered-down drinks, and disappointing food. With such a beautiful space, you would expect the rest of the experience to match, but unfortunately it does not. Not recommended.”
