“It was our first time here, and my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it. We came with our dog, and the host made us feel so welcome from the start, he even brought a bowl of water for our dog and a purse holder for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. He let us know our server, Murphy, would be with us shortly, and she did not disappoint. Murphy was amazing, friendly, attentive, and her recommendations were spot on. The Jamaican in Paris was incredible, the avocado toast with pesto was out of this world, and the pancakes were truly delicious. On top of that, the coffee and mimosas were just perfect. The whole experience, from the service to the food to the vibe, was outstanding. Such a beautiful place to spend a morning. We’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Great breakfast stop. I got the salmon toast subbed the cream cheese for avocado and a side of potatoes and I enjoyed my meal. It was filling and not heavy. Great bite before or after the beltline. I’ll be back to try dinner”
“Y'all go try the Rosemary Lemonade! It was so refreshing and came (very timely too, props to my server Aiden) in a gorgeous english hobnail glass. The avocado toast was DE-licious: the bread was unbelievably good, the mash wasn't too salty, and the poached egg and onion was ¿somehow? shadowed by the pure bliss of this toast. Truly amazing. The owner is also phenomenal, super friendly and remembered my name even. They let me know that most of the items on the menu are from local farmers! Love that, Loved the place, I will try to bring my friends next time”
“We decided to try B&B after learning about their dinner menu which is heavily influenced by Africa and the Diaspora,”. The food was not necessarily “authentic” but their take on the dishes were phenomenal. We started with the cassava frites which is served with black garlic aioli and caviar. It was so crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Absolutely delicious. We loved the octopus. It was cooked to perfection and whatever dressing they used for the greens was so light and fresh. Our last small plate was the tasso. It was cooked perfectly but we felt there was too much of the epis but when you eat it with the pikliz and plantain it works very well. My friend liked her shrimp but wasn’t crazy about the gnocchi. I got the chicken and I liked it. Very juicy and the sauce and potatoes that accompanied it were great. It is such a cute establishment and I liked the music. Our server, I believe her name was Stephanie, was so nice and did a great job. The Maitre D was also very welcoming and knowledgeable about the dishes as well. I will definitely be back but I think next time I will just try all the small plates instead of doing a large plate.”
