“Everything about this experience was wonderful! When we came in we were greeted warmly by the host (unfortunately didn’t catch their name). Our server Haleigh was knowledgeable about the menu options (food and beverage) and suggested a drink option that was perfect when I realized they didn’t have my preference. When our food came out, everything was delicious! Our steaks were cooked perfectly by Nana and the asparagus was fantastic. 11/10 if I could!, definitely recommend!”

“this place NEVER disappoints. doesnt matter the day of the week, time, whos working, if im there by myself or with a big party - the food is phenomenal and the service is outstanding (the drinks are 10/10). this is ALWAYS my first recommendation when family and friends visit jax. the food and atmosphere is amazing. this business blows all others out of the water. more recently brought my dog for the first time and they even have a dog bowl, so accommodating.”

“We recently had catering for our 80 person wedding by The Local and can’t say enough about how wonderful the food and people were. From our initial conversations with Terrance , to our tasting for menu selection, each step of the way was smooth and well communicated. We truly felt like VIPs and had so many options to choose from. Once we selected the menu our day of service was stress free and beyond expectations. The team was seasoned and knew exactly what to do with limited instruction. Food set up and bar placement were well thought out and the team did a great job all evening. The staff was helpful and engaging and our guests shared many compliments on how the team handled the evening. It goes without mention that the food was delicious and exactly what we had hoped for. I will definitely recommend the Local and hope to use again in the future.”

“By far hands down one of the best spots on the beach!!! Like this place is seriously elite! In all things too not just food, but service, vibes, and location! Everything is a 10/10! We started with those oyster New Orleans…many restaurants attempt this treat…but few succeed…like I said this place is really like that…ELITE!!! I’ve never been to a place and had a steak that didn’t need steak sauce 🤯😋 that chimichurri butter go so crazy! Adding the potatoes and arugula salad was just plain showing off! Everything paired so well together! That berry peachy mimosa tho!!! Like seriously who’s ever idea this was…I hope life is treating you kind, you deserve all good things in life forever!! I’m a crème brûlée 🍮 connoisseur so I’m really hard to impress with that…but I can’t hold it against these guys. I just want to say please never remove any of these items from the menu or I’ll cry 😢 kinda like I did when they removed the lobster roll and then the shrimp roll.”

“We had the fried grouper tacos 4 Shrimp and grits 5 Steak Benedict - report was 4 The wait at the hostess was a little Conjested because of how the area is with multiple people coming in. The staff was good and attentive. The service was tentatively fast & it was pretty busy. They have live singing on certain days. They have a huge bar if you want to come and hang out. Some of the art on the walls are for sell.”
