“We had stopped in early before the kitchen officially opened up and Alejandro and the rest of the staff opened up the kitchen up for us. We felt extremely welcomed here! And Alejandro's golden milk matcha - I have no words. Its all I think about here lately. It was pure perfection! Will definitely stop by again when I'm in Austin again!! And those biscuits, oh lord!! Try them. You will have no regrets!!”
“This is my favorite brunch of all time. As a gluten free gal, I never get to eat biscuts, french toast, fried chicken, etc, but here I can have it all! The food is incredibly high quality, albeit a bit on the pricier side. However, it's worth every penny! I came here two days in a row that's how good it was. Honestly, you couldn't go wrong with anything on their menu, but here's everything I've tried: - Fried Chicken sandwhich - French Toast - Blueberry house pancakes - Brussels sprouts - Eggs Benedict - Vanilla latte Genuinely everything listed about was an 11/10. I'm not typically a coffee drinker, but I would have a cup of this every morning. Their biscuits and pancakes are all homemade, and on top of all that their servers were kind and attentive. Even if you aren't gluten-free I would 100% give this place a try! It's perfect for a brunch date because you can get delicious food, a fun drink, and not feel like crap afterwards! I will be back to try their matcha and breakfast potatoes.”
“I visited Picnik for the options. My daughter and I follow the autoimmune protocol and was pleasantly happy with seed oil free cooking and more. However, both my daughter and my husband ordered beef dishes and said too dry. We were impressed with the guacamole and chips. I didn’t think my family would eat it, but they inhaled it. The balance of flavors was unique and yummy. I also loved the matcha tea with coconut milk. I would return for the tea and guac and also to try other dishes when we visit Austin again.”
“I stopped in for a late lunch and had a nice experience. We were seated right away, which is always a great start. We shared the cashew queso and the fish tacos; the queso was easily an 8/10, super creamy with great flavor, and the fish tacos were a solid 7/10, fresh and satisfying without feeling too heavy. Service was a little slow at times, but the staff was friendly and welcoming, which made up for the wait. Overall, it was a good lunch experience, and I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu!”
“As a VERY sensitive celiac I was nervous about eating here but they assured me from the moment I walked in the door that it was safe for me, and it was! The food was AMAZING I got the French toast and the breakfast hash, the French toast was just so awesome it was so nice to have food that was safe and yummy. Shoutout to Dane he was a great server super helpful and really made the experience a 10/10.”
