“Went there for a private party where All Hat No Cadillac was playing. It was rainy so the band played inside. What could have been a downer turned into one of the best birthday parties I’ve been to. Great food, great service, and a great band!”

“Highly recommended Texas barbecue restaurant. A friend took me to County Line when I was visiting and the food was great. We had deviled eggs and the three meat combo. Excellent tender brisket, flavorful turkey, and tasty pork. Picture perfect view on the lake. I will return to this restaurant when I go to Austin again.”

“My extended family's favorite BBQ restaurant. It's more consistent than Rudy's. You really can't go wrong with any of County Line's meats. Their BBQ sauce is good; it falls short of great. I'm a fan of their Fried Okra and Green Beans. Not a fan of their Potato Salad (mustard recipes are better). They have very tasty bread, but you've got to be careful not to fill up on it before your meal arrives!”

“Homey atmosphere, warm greetings from the staff. Food was great, we tried several things on the menu. If you love mushroomsor deviled eggs, try those appetizers, both amazing. Bread plate is home cooked. I had the king rib plate to share and it was huge! The green beans were a little too garlicky for me. The corn was bland, but it's not really in season. But the ribs made up for those two. We also tried a baked potato and it was great. We finished with a warm slice of pecan pie a la mode. Overall great experience!”

“County Line on the Hill is a great restaurant for barbecue and a beautiful view. The wait staff was attentive and kind. The food is decent, I had the Beef Ribs and they were good but the meat did not have a lot of flavor. I definitely recommend the bread appetizer with the honey butter! If you want a nice evening with a great view definitely recommend.”
